Dr. Wallington is very missed by me. I had moved up to Vermont, he had given me 6 months of meds till I found a new psychiatrist. Unfortunately I have not found any one that listens to me and that just overall gets me. Meds have been changed so much since I left Dale. These Drs up here just can't listen to me when I tell them what Dale prescribed me and how I actually felt a normal ness about myself. Well I think VT like using people on Medicaid as guinea pigs. Wonder why so many people self medicate in this State!

Hey you all patients. Dr. Wallington has received one of the worst probationary and $ fines ever imposed by the State of CT Dept of Public Health. He has nearly lost his license and is basically under 'GPS' by the State of CT until at least December 2020. He could lose his license any day while he is out on 'parole' so to speak. See for yourselves - visit elicense.ct.gov and also google him like Dr. Dale Wallington Connecticut Health Investigative Team May 21, 2019. Be careful with this legal drug dealer/addict.

Dr. Wallington is a kind a helpful doctor who has worked with me to find the best medicine for my anxiety and ADD. He thoroughly discusses how medicines will react with me, mentions possible cons and pros of the medicine, and sends me on my way. It’s not a therapy session, since that is not his job, but he does listen intently to how the medicine is effecting me and my life. Many other reviews on this page seem to be by people who do not understand what a psychiatrist is compared to a psychologist. If it was not for an insurance issue I would gladly continue seeing Dr. Wallington.

Do not see this Dr. If you're looking for expertise in clinical diagnosis , a Dr . Who listens and provides time to ask questions about your diagnosis as well as the selection of the proper medications to manage your condition please seek out Second opinion . There is absolutely no therapeutic dicussion or support to aid in your decisions making about the best , most current medications and therapy to improve your quality of life . Nor , does he take into account any feedback from a loved one living with the person he sees as a patient !

This doctor is a legal drug dealer. A previous comment that he is aggressive with medications? Darn right. He gives away samples like PEZ to children. He also violates HIPPA, discusses your visits just because someone calls and asks (can you believe it) and alters HIPPA releases to cover his rear end.. He has been sued in Hartford, CT, and is in the process of being sued again. Don't go to him for substance abuse because he, personally, would be hypocritical dispensing therapy due to his "own issues" there.

I have been with Dr. Wallington for more than 10 years. I'm bipolar. He has worked diligently trying many combinations of medications to try and help me. Some have worked but with unacceptable side affects. Others haven't at all. I credit him with where i am today. He is aggressive with medications which I'm ok with. Oh he wasn't I probably wouldn't be writing this.
