Over two years ago, I dismissed my family doctor, because he was abusing the Medicare patients by making them wait too long for appointment times. Dr. Michael D. Williams-Cedar Hill accepted us as new patients. He is just like the doctors in the glorious past; he does not rush you in and out. He takes his time, is interested in you, knows all forms of medical care and respects his patients. We were fortunate to have him as our doctor in 2007 for he saved my husband's life when he contracted pneumonia twice. Dr. Williams came to his office and gave my husband the required medical attention needed not just Monday through Friday but also every Saturday and Sunday until my husband was out of danger. That is what I call dedication and one doctor who practices the Hippocratic oath. Each time we have an appointment, his staff is courteous, efficient and professional. We have never had to wait. His office has always been especially clean. I just wish more doctors would pay attention to the work ethics of Dr. Williams and his staff.

Dr. Williams is the epitome of a caring small town Doc. I have been a patient for about 15 years and have never considered going to anyone else. When you leave his office you feel like you have truly had his undivided attention and you never feel like you have been rushed out. I can't say enough great things about him and based on his popularity in our town I'm sure many people feel the same way I do.

Dr, Mike is an amazing doctor and person. Most of the time, you are just a face with a complaint list. Dr. Williams does not treat you this way. He is one of the few Doctors around today that actually cares and listens. He and his staff set the standards that all others should strive for. I would HIGHLY recommend him!

As a health care professional, I have referred patients to Dr. Williams as well as used him as my personal physician. He is a wonderful, caring physician with a broad spectrum of knowledge in medicine. His personality allows him to approach any number of topics with his patients in a candid and insightful way. His staff is colorful and friendly and often shares conversation with patients making them feel at home. He's the kind of physician that every town deserves!

Wonderful friendly staff. Great physician with a heart. He has helped me and my family for many many years and he is like one of the family. We all loved his dog Baby but she went blind and is now retired to a old friends home. Baby made all our visits very special and helped our childern enjoy doctor visits. My mother can't say enough good things about Dr. Mike. He is a dear friend and healer. He makes house calls when necessary and goes the extra mile for his patients. His knowlege of nutrition and open mind about medicine is a breath of fresh air. Thank God for Dr. Williams.

I love Dr. Mike! Every time I've been there he has been wonderful. He takes his time with me and doesn't give the impression he is trying to rush me out of the office like I usually experience.

The doctor's office is seedy looking and badly needs a good cleaning and paint job. There was mud on the x-ray machine and overflowing trash cans in the bathroom. His staff is very disorganized and unprofessional both in person and on the phone. They do not follow up and do what they promise -- like call in prescriptions or mail reports. The doctor spends lots of time with patients and is good about explaining your problem and his solutions. However, he never returns phone calls, takes weeks to call with results of tests and days to call in prescription refills even after many phone calls. Once he did not consult the chart and tried to prescribe medicines that I am allergic to. I had to stop and correct him and ask for another medicine. The office hours are not reliable and he often closes early. The staff is often discussing personal issues instead of taking care of patients who are standing waiting at the desk. He keeps his dog in the office with him all the time.
