I have been treated by Dr. Pelta on and off for 20 years. He is simply the best. Dr. Petla pragmatic doctor with insight and common sense. I would recommend him to anyone. I am currently trying to reach him as he seems not to be at the clinic I last saw him.

Dr Pelta is a wonderful professional, compassionate and caring. After 3 years of going from one doctor to another he was the only one who really made a difference with my depression and anxiety issues. I have no words to thank him!

I have been seeing Dr. Pelta for over 10 years and he is a good doctor. He listens, takes time with you and offers suggestions for you consider. After he moved to Miami I tried other Doctors and I am completely unsatisfied. I will be following Dr. Pelta to Miami.

Caring, compassionate and knowledgeable psychiatrist who is patient oriented. He's up-to-date on the most recent treatment options. He is competent in dealing with the most difficult and challenging cases providing the patient is receptive to new ideas and therapy options. His office staff is extremely busy and contrary to what I've read on this site, is efficient and helpful at least to us that is. Then again, we're right to the point and don't waste their time or the doctor's.

I am very concerned about Dr. Ely Pelta's front office staff who have exhibited behaviors that I perceive as consistent with meanness, nastiness, lack of compassion and significant unprofessionalism. I have been reduced to tears for feeling bullied, especially by the office manager,on at least three occasions, and been told by another person that he was shaken and stunned by the office manager's mean behavior.Does Dr. Ely Pelta know that his front office staff are displaying stress-inducing behaviors toward his patients and/or families who may be emotionally fragile and vulnerable and even potentially suicidal? If so, I strongly question Dr. Pelta's professional judgment.
