Listens to what you have to say. Treats you like a person and not just an illness. Explains everything including meds.

I really like Dr. Pelta. His "nurse" Jackie, can be difficult, unprofessional and frustrating to deal with. If Dr. Pelta wasn't so great I would change doctors because I don't want to have anything to do with Jackie. Dr. Pelta takes his time with you and truly listens to what you say and makes sure he understands it. He appears to be aware of the latest research not only regarding medications but also devices that can help with drug resistant depression and anxiety. He is easygoing, warm, kind, patient, funny and smart!

The office staff was very helpful. He does run a little behind schedule but well worth the wait. He really listens to you. You don't feel judged by Dr. Pelta. His personality will keep you as a patient. He has "good tact" with people. His people skills are wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Pelta is a fantasic doctor, but his office staff is so in need of effective management that it prevents him from doing any good at all....Unless and until he gets a good office manager, stay away for your own safety.

Dr. Pelta is a good man but his "gatekeeper" is horrible. Find another practice! They will ignore you even in crisis!!!!
