Unfortunately Dr Palizi lost our business due to his rude and difficult receptionist. For 4 1/2 years our family saw Dr Palizi and his amazing dental assistant. Sadly his receptionist was difficult and rude from day one. Hoping for a better experience every time we had a visit, It became impossible to work with her and ultimately it was clear our business was inconsequential to his practice. It’s sad because once you get past the front office it’s not a bad practice.

Dr. Palizi is knowledgeable, kind, and honest, and, as others have said, gentle. He seems to prefer doing most of the cleanings himself and explains options. The receptionist is pleasant and sincere, and if you ask what is covered by your insurance, she'll find out for you quickly. The hygienist is delightful. My whole family has been going to Dr. Palizi for many years. I highly recommend his practice!

Wonderful, knowledgeable caring doctor. Very gentle. The person who complained on 5/29/2014 sounds like someone who is just a complainer. Sounds like she is out for money only. Don't be so sensitive. Dr. Palizi is a wonderful person. You should be ashamed. What you put out comes back to you in threes. That's Karma.

Dr. Palizi was warm and friendly at first, though in retrospect he touched me quite a lot. Very creepy. He also kept his tools on my chest while doing the dentistry--very strange. When it was time to pay I had a huge bill; I'd expected no bill. I asked the secretary to explain, but she couldn't explain clearly or reasonably. Her English isn't great, but she was also talking in circles to avoid the truth. Palizi cheated me, padding the bill. I was charged for pain relief when I specifically asked for none. I was also charged for a more expensive--and not covered by insurance--cavity filling. He didn't give me the option of the cheaper--and fully covered--form. In fact he lied, saying that what he did was better. A quick bit of internet research revealed that he was lying; the cheaper fix was, in my case, better. I emailed to get answers, but he kept avoiding the questions. I've complained to the VA Dentistry Board and Aetna. Palizi refunded some of the money, but so far not all.

Started out really great. Went in for a filling, the appt was rushed b/c the dr had to leave. Ended up paying $100 when I was told it was only $80 (dr decided to use anesthetics w/out telling us first we would have to pay more). Assistant is very sweet. Office help could be nicer.

Dr. Palizi is gentle and patient! My whole family loves Dr. Palizi---we've been to other dentists in the area and he is far and away the BEST!
