Omg. Dr. Bingaman told me that I would get 90 percent better and I got 100 percent worse! He performed a spinal fusion at the c4 c5 level, before surgery mY hands were only slightly numb. Starting only weeks after my surgery, I was getting all kinds of new symptoms , and slowly felt as if I was going to be paralyzed. For eight mos I was told that it was only inflammation and was prescribed pain meds and steroids. Notjing helped and he refused to see me. Then a yr passed and covid was here. I was then s victim of slow scheduling, ect. His office sent me to more physical therapy, carpel tunnel doctors pain management, and nothing helped. I begged and pleaded for his help. HE DID NOTHING!!! Then after almost 2 yrs he referred me to another spine surgeon. I wouldn't let u perform surgery on my cat. You are a horrible person if I did a background check on him before my surgery , I would have discovered that he was sued for malpractice and was arrested for writing BAD CHECKS. HES A LOSER. DONT USE HIM HE WILL CRIPPLE U.

Today is 9/11. I personally discovered that hero's appear as doctors! On 9/11 some years ago, Dr. Bingaman performed a BIL Cervical Fusion with a complex spinal body tumor. What made my case unique is that nine other doctors refused to treat me or surgically intervene. Dr. Bingaman, Dr. Masaryk, Ann and his entire staff were incredibly kind and supportive. I will forever be grateful he performed my surgery. I do not believe I would be here today had I not traveled to Cleveland Clinic and placed my health in his healing hands. Dr. Bingaman is my hero!

*my puter has word processing problems - sorry). Dr. Bingaman without looking at the MRI's of my spine and the referrals by the incompetent local neurosurgeon to whom I was

palmed off; my second opinion neurosurgeon (who suggested the Cleveland Clinic when my best friend was diagnosed and treated

within 3 days after going to the Cleveland Clinic.

Doctors in the Metro area where I live for a year in which one doctor almost killed her. She was treateed so wonderfully well, I was

so impressed) and rheumatologist (who offered to make an appt with the Cleveland Clinic)

It must be an ego thing to get part of the medical records, did not look at the MRIs of my back and say he can't help me. His

assistant Edie is a wonderful, pleasant handler of people. Pictures are worth 10,000 words.

Weight bearing causes more pain so I lie down or sit at the computer about 16-18 hrs per day. I can go out 2 - 4 hrs depending on

what I am doing. Lying down often reduces the greatest pain,
So I thought lying down in a horizontal MRI also hides the pressure points of weight bearing pain.

I told Edie my 3rd MVA happened after my Dec 2015 MRI and that my back had gotten worse since then; sometimes light lightning

streaks across my back. I used to be very active and want to be so again. I want to go to my 50th High School Reunion rather

than miss it or maybe with help and a power assist wheelchair. (the last 3 yrs at work, WVRehab got me power assist wheel chair

so I could keep my job.

I kept the wheelchair only at work so I could continue to feed myself because I could not control the amount of walking and

standing I was required to do. [Please do not try to tell me the ADA 1990, as amended works nor the 1973 Rehab Act, as amended

work., especially in a federal workplace*]. Eight (8) different treating physicians could not provide "administratively acceptable:

proof I needed for reasonable accommodations. After proof is found to be administratively acceptable, only then is it shown to

Agency doctors who immediately said I needed reasonable accommodations. (Your federal tax dollars at waste.)

As soon as I received early disability, I donated my wheelchair to someone who needed it more. Since Aug 2008 (disability

retirement) and this 3rd MVA (5th impact), my health and body are almost broken. Anyone with Chronic Pain might agree that

decades of pain from multiple physical issues; one starts thinking the quality of life is more important than quantity. I used to work

in R&D and have an outstanding ability to research.

This just happened and of course it took me aback. I know I came down heavy on Dr. Bingaman whom I've never met and who has

never, as far as I know, looked at any of my spinal MRI's. One way for me to deal with anger and disappoinment is to "write it out",

make a call, send an emial, take action. So I'll get over my pity party and try to find a neurosurgeon who will take a stand-up MRI

and look at the picture, BEFORE he/she decides they cannot help me.

PROVISO: When I feel the ROOT CAUSE of my 36-yr-old increasing pain levels; first off and on, then on and on, and on; is within

grasp of being treated; rather than pallative treatment, it is MOST disappointing. Can some of you who have increasing pain

problems over the years decided numbing the pain and pain blocks is disguising the damage that continues to be done to your

back, hip, knees, and other parts of the body?

Lastly, I did not want to waste ~$1,500 seeing a back doctor (non-surgeon) (I'm on a fixed disability income Title II at Social

Security and by working, I'm not poor enough to get all the freebees of someone who has never worked) at the Cleveland Clinic

when I am prepared (if my insurance agrees) to try ANY PROCEDURE that lessen the root cause. Before I went to work in a

chemical plant, my health was excellent, but heavy exposure to chemicals for 20 years, even when I went to an R&D lab turning out

professional reports, imho has a lot to do with decrease in physical condition.

In my heart, I still wonder why Dr. Bingaman turned me down without at least himself looking at my spinal MRIs and using his

superior mind to interpret for himself. I am cooled off now. Do I hear an Amen? LOL.

My surgery was estimated to take approximately three hours; it was completed in less than two. He is very efficient, professional and knowledgeable, and anyone with the unfortunate situation of being required to have brain surgery, know that you are in good hands with him.

This man changed my life. I went in for epilepsy surgery and was absolutely terrified because only 2% of all epilepsy surgeries were like mine. The procedure went perfectly and I was out of the hospital in less than two weeks. Its been more than a year and half since surgery and I haven't had a single seizure. Would highly recommend him
