This office is in serious need of a scheduling class. The office opens at 9 am and my mother was scheduled several times at 8 am. Even if she was scheduled for actual office hours, their wait time averages at around 2 hours. It is ridiculous. Dr. Neshiwat is an endocrinologist who specializes in diabetes. He of all people should know how dangerous hypoglycemic shock is. All these sick diabetic patients waiting for hours on end for their appointment, without getting to eat at appropriate times. I personally saw several of the patients (including my mom), eat candy after candy, just so that they can get the shaking to stop! When the front staff was confronted for the delay, they said the doctor decides on how long he takes to see each patient. I appreciate the fact that he takes his time with patients, but then learn to schedule accordingly. If Dr. Neshiwat only has time to care for 20 patients per day, schedule them accordingly. Do not schedule them all to be seen in the hour. And it's not just the wait times or scheduling issues. Every time you try to call for refills or a medication switch, they don't answer the phone. Diabetes medication is not a joke. We try to be proactive by calling for refills 2 weeks in advance, but still end up being screwed over. I am sick and tired of this office. I will not be scheduling any more appointments with this doctor. Dr. Neshiwat, my parent may be only one of your 100 patients, so it may not be a big deal to you. But I have only one Mom and I refuse to see her care neglected to such a degree.
