This Doctor is the worst. I wish the Royal Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons would read this board and take away this guy's license. Rude, and not the least bit thorough. I went in for back pain he wiggled my foot and said there was nothing wrong with me. I asked him what could be causing the pain and he shrugged again. He made me feel like I was a hypochondriac which I most certainly am not. Like most people on this board I will have to seek another opinion so our tax dollars have to pay for two visits to keep this guy in business. This clinic is really pulling from the bottom of the barrel with this Doctor.

I went in to see this doctor with ear pain- he said my ears are clear as a whistle and sent me home.. not to mention he was extremely rude! the next day I seen another dr regarding the same problem and turned out i have an ear infection, in both my ears! and had to take antibiotics. THIS ADVANCED WALK IN CLINIC HAS BEEN INVESTIGATED BY THE RCMP IN THE PAST... I DO NOT TRUST THE OWNER OF THIS CLINIC NOR THE DOCTORS HE HIRES. I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING GETTING THEM INVESTIGATED AGAIN- I CAN SEE THERE ARE ENOUGH CASES ON THIS GUY AND ESSENTIALLY MOST DOCTORS IN THIS CLINIC. I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF SOME OF THEM ARE NOT LISCENCED!!!!

Dr Balsys is rude and lacks compassion. He leaves the patient with the impression that the patient is wasting his time by visiting him, which is unfortunate.

It is unfortunate that this doctor is still licensed. He neither showed any interest to my case nor did seem to have any knowledge about my mom’s ailment. My mom was in pain and symptoms were clearly visible. He laughed at us sarcastically and told that he did not understand why we were there.

Mr. Balsys should NOT have the title Doctor before his name. Unfortunately being a walk in clinic I've been unfortunate to have him attend to me three times and the most recent my daughter. He has absolutely no knowledge of what he is doing, treats patients like we are some sort of idiots just waisting his time. He is not helpful at wall in fact he is quite condesending and rude. Why is our OHIP paying this person when there are so many wonderful doctors out there so much more deserving of his position. How many people have to complain about this doctor before something gets done. Just have a look at his ratings this should tell you something.

Absolutely disgraceful. I just returned from my visit to 'doctor' (where, exactly, did this guy get his MD from, anyway?) Balsys and I'm still in shock. I asked him to put me on a new anti depressant as the one I'm on has some side effects that are interfering with my daily life. His advice? Stop taking them, oh, and, get out of bed and 'do stuff'. This is awful medical advice, and even with the most rudimentary medical knowledge myself, I can tell you with absolute certainty that you do not just 'stop taking' an anti depressant. This kind of drug requires a weaning off period, where the amount of the drug is slowly reduced after a period of time. So his advice was horribly medically unsound. Aside from that, he was the most rude man I've ever met in my life. What a terrible, and hilarious experience. You have to see this guy for yourself to believe how bad he is, you wouldn't believe me if I told you, he's that AWFUL. Give the guy a sitcom, 'Sh*t My Doctor Says'. Astounding.

Our tax dollars at work?? I went to him with a sprained wrist. After wiggling my wrist around briefly, he just told me to take a tylenol and keep on doing the activity which caused the injury. And he said I should expect that sort of thing when playing sport. No diagnosis, treatment advice or expected recovery period was given. Lacking in compassion and downright rude. I wonder how much OHIP will get billed for this 2 minute useless visit. I will attempt to file a formal complaint. Why isn't there a 0 rating this website?
