Sorry, but I am going to have to disagree with all of you. Dr. Wilson missed my hypothyroidism that developed when I was pregnant, even thogh I was gaining weight way faster than I was supposed to and I told him I wasn't eating more than usual. He just assumed I was lying and told me to cut back on fruit juice. (Are you kidding me?)He also let me suffer through 12 hours of hard labor when I wasn't progressing at all. I was fully effaced and only 5cm. He knew there was a problem and my son and I needed oxygen. He FINALLY decided to do an emergency c-section. When Desmond came out he was practically black from lack of oxygen and he didn't cry when he first came out. Nowadays, we see tons of specialists because my son is autistic, suffers from learning disability and delays and has ADHD. I recently read that low thyroid hormone in pregnant moms can cause autism and I'm sure going without oxygen for so long in delivery didn't help his IQ any. He's an egomaniacal quack.

Dr. Wilson is simply the best; I've been a patient of OB/GYN and Midwifery for more than 11 years now and have delivered 5 children through the practice. Kathy Tirrell was my (amazing) midwife, but Dr. Wilson assisted on two of my deliveries, and I saw him countless times over the course of my pregnancies. He doesn't sugar-coat, but he is knowledgable, kind, and an expert physician whom I trust implicitly. Together, he and Kathy make a wonderful, competent, dynamic team.

The staff was polite and I got a quick appointment. But Dr.Tirrell and Wilson were not very helpful with my specific needs. I didn't want a male doctor but was made to see him anyway, it was very uncomfortable. They had me make appointments with other Dr.s that were not needed then wouldn't help me chose birth control methods. They did call me back when I left a message but I went elsewhere after having bad experiences with their office and realized that they weren't very knowledgeable or helpful.I do not recamend this office. I was very unhappy with them!!!!!!

Dr. Wilson has been my doctor for the past five years. He was able to appropriately address my issues and make a definitive diagnosis that six other doctors in 10 years had missed or ignored. He was personable, direct, caring, honest, skillful, timely, professional and incredible. He performed my surgery on my terms, as it was somewhat elective. He does expect his staff to be punctual as he only has the surgical suite for a period of time and other patients are waiting. I respect that. While he may have a direct approach with hospital staff, I appreciate him holding them accountable to schedule for my benefit. I did not find him irate or inappropriate in any way. He writes orders and expects schedules to be kept for a reason. I am a nursing student and understand the necessity of keeping the schedule moving in a positive direction. I felt his directness served well in an exceptional experience and healing pattern for me. He is clear and concise and extremely friendly.

Dr Wilson is extremely knowledgable and takes the time to provide explanations and /or information when asked. He delivered both of my children and has been my OB for ten years. I would highly recommend him and his office. The provide friendly, personable service. The wait is often long as he often gets called to the hospital to delivery babies but he will be accommodating when you need to be fit in for a visit as well. Dr. Wilson is reserved so if you have questions, be prepared to ask them as he is not the type to draw them out of you. He is not a hand holder but he is efficient and kind.

Dr. Wilson was a great ob. Answered our questions and addressed our concerns thoroughly and adhered to the birth plan I wanted. Took his own calls and always spoke with him directly with any questions.

Dr. Wilson's professionalism and skills are incredible, but he does not have a way with words. Those who say he doesn't have bedside manner probably didn't like his verdict- which is delivered in a no-nonsense way. I felt he could have been more sensitive at times, but very much appreciate his knowledge- skill- and dedication to his parents. He is always late- but many OB's on the Island are.

Dr W. is a perfectionist and as such can NOT tolerate mistakes. He experiences uncontrollable rage when he discovers he has erred OR he discovers the patient is not in favor of his plan. Otherwise he does have a clear grasp of his field.

Dr. Wilson is an AMAZING Doc. He usually runs way behind appointment wise but he's worth the wait.
