I did not feel cared about by Dr. tahtawi at all. She may be a good fit for some people, but I am not one of them. I thought she was rude and condescending. She really didn't take the time to explain things I needed to know and instead I've had to google many things. She seemed annoyed every time I tried to ask her a question. And overall I just didn't feel good about while interacting with her.

Dr. Tahtawi is amazing. I feel so fortunate to have found her. She is informative, supportive, and a wonderful doctor. The staff are just as excellent. You simply cannot go wrong with her as your Dr.

I wouldn't see anyone else other than Dr. Tahtawi, even if someone paid me to go elsewhere. When she left her previous practice I panicked but was thrilled to hear she opened her own. She is nothing less than fabulous and very professional. I wouldn't want to be buddy buddy with my OB, she is straight to the point, tell me all my options and explains everything and makes sure that I fully understand and dont have any questions before I leave. My appointments are always right on time, no long waits. She is very kind, cares for your well being not just female things. When I got engaged I couldn't wait to tell her. I look forward to having children one day and wouldn't want anyone else along that journey with me than Dr. Tahtawi. :)

Not the office for me. Staff great, doctor not my type. She doesn't like being questioned, and when we're talking about MY body as the patient, I want to be fully educated on options and treatments. I also found her to be very rude. I did not feel that she cared about me as a patient; I was just a number.

Dr. Tahtawi is the most incredible Doctor/Woman. She is professional, brilliant, supportive, kind and above all a doctor who is all about her patients. She will do what it takes. She gave me faith in the medical profession again. I never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointments and all of her staff members are professional and delightful. There is no better practice out there! 10 stars!!!!

I went to Dr. Tahtawi about 2 years ago for a chronic pain/irritation issue I'd had for years. My first appointment was very pleasant. Dr Tahtawi spent a good amount of time with me and asked detailed questions.The phone call I received from the nurse after that appt was to tell me that my issue should resolve itself if I stopped wiping from back to front after bowel movements. I asked for a follow up as I knew that wasn't the problem.At the second appt, the Dr told me she didn't see any reason for my issues, and as she walked out the door, she turned back to me and in a hallway in front of other patients said to me "You probably just have herpes". I was humiliated. I had the impression that Dr. Tahtawi felt that if she didn't know what the issue was, then it had to be my own fault. I have since found the UNC Vulvar pain clinic who confirmed that I do not have an STD. What I have is VVS.
