I was told by my gynocologist to see Dr Gupta when I decided to have a tummy tuck. I was not impresed with his results and though he spent a long time with me in the consultation I didnt get a sense of confidence with him. Later when I saw his ads at our grocery store it made me even less comfortable to have him operate on me.

I am a nurse at a hospital in San Diego and I also work at a busy surgery center. Over the past few years I have worked with about 25 different plastic surgeons in the operating room. I have to say that Dr. Gupta is the best that I have ever seen in my career. His results are amazing and his hands are truly gifted. He is delightful to work with and is very kind to his patients and all of the staff in the operating room. We all look forward to the days when Dr. Gupta is coming to work in our operating room. When I decide to have plastic surgery, he is definitely the one I am going to.

Dr. Gupta is a wonderful doctor. He is compassionate, caring and extremely skilled. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Gupta. He has always been accessible and responsive to my needs. He has provided excellent care during my post breast cancer reconstruction. I highly recommend him as a surgeon.

Dr. Gupta is the best. He did my breast implants and liposuction a few months ago and I love my results. He always had a smile on his face and he always had the time to answer my questions. It was very comforting to know that if I ever needed to talk to him, he was always available on his cell phone, even at night. His office staff are really nice. I'm glad I found such a great plastic surgeon, and I'm not going to go anywhere else.

I was referred to Dr. Gupta by my dermatologist, to repair my nose following mohs surgery for skin cancer. Dr. Gupta rebuilt my nose, and I am very pleased and relieved with the result. I found Dr. Gupta to be very kind and capable, and he instilled confidence. From the initial consultation, through surgery and post-surgery checkups, he was always prompt, courteous, and most of all highly skilled and professional. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Gupta did my breast reconstruction after my double mastectomy. He is a delightful person, with a professional manner which instills confidence. He provides a lengthy print-out explaining what would be involved and what to expect, etc., and is totally open to answering any and all questions. His staff, by the way, is super, knowledgeable, and helpful. AND, the results are fantastic. I couldn't be more pleased with the reconstruction. I highly recommend Dr. Abhay Gupta.

I looked forward to meeting the doctor when my stylist at the hair salon in mission valley recommended him. I was disappointed in that his office was very hard to find, I didnt bond with him and found his personality very dry. I wanted my doctor to be excited with me about having my breast augmentation. I went back and told my stylist that I was not comfortable with him. I had it done by another doctor and am happy with my results.

I felt a duty to prospective patients to learn from the extremely scary experience I had with Dr Gupta and his office. I underwent what was supposed to be a routine breast procedure only to suffer a horrific complication. Not only did he not answer his phone but another physician had to handle the problem. I was rushed to surgery and reoperated on. There was no remorse expressed by him, just "sometimes these things happen." I am quite aware that things don't always go smoothly in surgery, but his callous disregard, lack of empathy and inability to take responsibility for his actions has made me lose confidence in him. I have let my doctors also know about my experience and would never recommend Dr Gupta.

Dr.Gupta gave me a sloppy injection - I now have problems in the area of the injection. I wish I would have selected a doctor that knew something about this procedure before letting him inject anything into my face. I would never go to this doctor again.
