Dr. Paty is what you'd expect from a revered surgeon and undisputed expert in his field, but most importantly, also what you wouldn't expect: warm, friendly, approachable and accessible. Non-pareil in every way.

Dr. Patey has no peers because he is in a class by himself. He recently operated on my son-in-law for colon cancer and we couldn't be happier with the result. The man knows what he is doing and he treats you as if you are his only patient.Anyone who thinks doctors aren't worth what they are paid need to check with Dr. Paty's patients. There are no guarantees when it comes to cancer but you can be sure Dr. Paty will give you the best chance for a cure ---the rest is in the hands of a higher power.

I was fortunate to have been operated on for colon cancer by Dr. Paty well over 5 years ago. He was always kind and caring. His surgery took 8-9 hours, during whih time he corrected grievous errors left by a botched apendectomy done in childhood. I have been symptom free and look to Dr. Paty as one of those rare finds in a surgeon.

Incredible, dedicted, talented surgeon, very friendly and responsive to your needs. If you need a rectal cancer surgeon, you won't do better. Extremely knowledgeable, great advice, and incredible skill in surgery. As others here have noted, the only reason he is not necessarily right on time is that he will spend as much time with each patient as needed, won't rush you out, will answer all your questions and concerns. He is the best doctor I have ever had.
