Dr. Hayes does care about his patients. He orders a lot of tests, but I believe that is to make sure he isn't missing anything. I have had a couple of problems with his staff being incredibly rude, and once due to an oversight they prescribed me a medication with an ingredient I am highly allergic to. It was clearly marked in my file that I had an allergy. It was prescribed over the Christmas holiday, and due to their office being closed I was extremely ill before I was able to see him and determine that the medication he had prescribed was causing my illness. He is sometimes overloaded, and can be argumentative if you question him. For example, he recently took me off a blood pressure medicine despite the fact that my blood pressure was elevated. He is frequently lacking information on his own dosing amounts.

Best doctor in Marion County. He listens, sympathetic, and genuinely cares about his patients. I only wish that there were more doctors like Dr. Hayes. I've seen him as he visits his patients in the hospital, his bedside manner is above all others. I would recommend him to anyone, "if they are lucky enought to be his patient"

DR. Hayes is a very thorough doctor. He loves to have test, but thats not a bad thing. At least you know your healthy. Usually in a good mood and listens to what you have to say. My only complaint is his receptionist is always rude. Nurses are great and very friendly.
