I am absolutely appalled at the staff, particularly the office manager Mrs. Hayes, at the treatment of patients. As all other comments, they have refused to file insurance claims and decided to bill after THREE years. This is an extremely unprofessional practice and I do not recommend dealing with them or their staff. Unacceptable and illegal behavior.

I came to Dr Hayes with a very bad infection. 2 other doctors wanted to amputate part of my foot. Dr Hayes treated me, cleared up the infection, and saved my foot! I am very grateful and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Hayes diagnosed me with a fracture and put me in a standard boot. With the follow-up xrays 3 weeks later, he said he could see it even better. I couldn't see anything so I got a second opinion. That doctor (orthopedic) could see NO evidence of a break - ever. Furthermore, Dr. Hayes's office charged me up front saying insurance "usually" doesn't cover, but then refused to file insurance to find out for sure. Come to find out, they will cover 80% ... if the dr would ever file a claim. I told the office this, but they still refuse. (My ins co is listed on their website as acceptable and saying they will file.) When I spoke to someone at my ins co, they said this office is very difficult to work with and they're always having this type of problem. With hindsight being 20/20, I definitely wouldn't have gone here.

Dr. Hayes was a decent doctor and foot surgeon. However, I was not happy to find that my insurance company was charged approx. 5 thousand for an EBI bone stimulator device that I did not purchase. Nor was I happy with the phone staff at his clinic, they are rude.
