My experience was in 2013 with the birth of my first and only child at the age of 22, slightly long but a serious warning. Saraf was not my OB but when I went into labor my OB was out of town and she was the on call. I was in labor for 16 hrs, at the 9 hr mark she realized my water had broke and I was on some pain medication I cannot even remember the name of, so when she asked me when it happened I had no answer. She continued to monitor for a bit, then I had received an epidural, which didn't take, not relevant at this moment but it will be. Anyways, she finally after another 5 hrs came in and started shoving a clipboard in my face, telling me I needed to have an emergency section, I was of course crying and scared, she's yelling at me and my partner was freaking out. Finally a nurse tells me my child's heart rate was dropping to a point of concern with my contractions so I signed the form and they prepped me. Once in the operating room, they gave me 2 another massive syringes of epidural which again didn't take, thats 3 epidurals and the pain medication via IV i was on for the last 9 hrs and then they decided to sedate me. According to my partner looking in from outside the room, it was a blood bath. I don't even recall naming my child or if I even cried. I briefly woke up, seen my child and was out for almost 24 hrs. I was released after 2 days in hospital, fast forward a few weeks. I was in and out of emerg, finally was rushed by ambulance when my stomach literally RIPPED open on my bedroom floor, i was in the hospital for a week with the entire incision wide open because she only stitched the outer layer of skin and i was pooling blood in my abdomen. I was sent home after a week with a daily home care nurse. Fast forward a week and a half and I was again rushed into the hospital because my appendix was on the verge of rupturing, turns out, saraf wrapped my large intestine around my appendix during my section.

My family Dr and my original OB both said I had grounds to sue, but being thst they both work in the hospital could not testify on my behalf as it went against their contract. I was a first time mom, I had already missed lost of the first 2 months of my child's life, not only that I couldn't afford a lawyer. So I dropped it. But now I'm 32 and found out I'm 2 months pregnant and I'm terrified as hell to go threw with this pregnancy because of the hell I went threw with my first. To conceive is a struggle for me as I have PCOS and i have wanting nothing more than a second child but now because of her im petrified and that isn't fair to me or my now husband... she shouldn't have a job in her field.. she shouldn't be a Dr. She's a joke and I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

Extremely condescending and rude. I had a Zoom appointment, which I I was not able to connect to for technology issues beyond my control. I emailed, called, and spoke to another doctor through the referring clinic to tell them this was happening, and to request a phone call from Dr. Saraf, which is what they ask you to do when the Zoom link doesn't work. She didn't receive any heads up, and instead called me on the phone, literally yelling at me that she was waiting in the Zoom and demanding to know where I was. When I explained what had happened, and that I had done everything in my power to contact her about switching to phone, she just said "oh" and then proceeded to cut me off, talk over me, and treat me like I had no clue what I was talking about for the remainder of our conversation - even though my appointment was to renew a prescription I have had for over 5 years that I'm very familiar with. She shouldn't be in a profession that requires treating people with respect, which is incredibly important to the doctor-patient relationship. I cannot even imagine what it would be like to have her as a gynecologist. Avoid this doctor at all costs.

My appointment with Dr. Saraf left me in tears, she was so rude and condescending. As a younger female already very nervous to go to my first gynaecologist appointment she has completely ruined my experience and was so unprofessional. She didn’t listen to my concerns of how I was feeling but diagnosed me without even examining me. I will never go to her again and would never recommend her to anyone.

Dr Saraf is fabulous. I finally have a diagnosis. I truly loved my consultation with her. She explained to me why it has been a difficult diagnosis to achieve and her recommended treatment is improving my symptoms just as she predicted. I am so grateful for her time and expertise.

The 3 experiences I had with Dr. Saraf left me in tears, she is dismissive, condescending, unprofessional and unorganized. I had some reservations after my initial phone consultation (cutting me off, telling me I was wrong about my own medical history, etc) but was desperate to be seen after waiting so long. I went in for my long scheduled pap test, just to be told she didn't have time, and that they didn't have my medical history so she wasn't sure if she could perform it for free anyways. I had waited 5 months for the appointment and an hour in her office for her to bring me back, say that to me and end the appointment. She asked me to sign a document at the front desk so they could obtain my history, which I did (even though we had already spoken about my history so I assumed she had it). After some time I reached out to their office and they had not received anything, I followed up with my doctor and they hadn't received the request, so I called back to Dr.Saraf to see what we could do. I received a very aggressive call back from Dr. Saraf herself letting me know it was not her offices job to obtain my medical history and I needed to do it myself and that she never told me otherwise and never had me sign a document. This was 7 months from when I had first been referred, and over the next 4 months I called and left multiple voicemails trying to schedule my appointment now that I had the info they needed, to date I have never received a call back. I have pre-cancer cell changes that need to be monitored, and had gone over 2 years without being checked due to my OBGYN retiring and then COVID issues, so this delay could have been critical. I hope not everyone has these types of experiences with her, as women's health is so important and this type of behavior can deter some women or cause further medical issues. I refuse to continue trying with her, I was referred elsewhere finally and was seen within a month and with the utmost care. Do not recommend.

Scheduled a routine appointment, followed up twice, went at the scheduled time only to be told I’d have to get an additional referral for a Pap test. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Do not recommend.

Im a menapausal woman and went to her for vaginal dryness burning issues and tears. Secretary is awesome and very accomodating. I did not care for the doctor herself. My condition was painful and she insisted on an internal. She was quite rough, prescribed an ointment told me to come back in 6 wks. She made some remarks about wearing no underwear and sitting with a fan between my legs. I mentioned all this to my GP and they had heard she was not the most caring or gentle person from other refferals. I refuse to go back.

*without warning or lubrication forcefully inserted speculum causing me painful cramps (there was no "now I will" .. or "take a deep breath, you will feel a pinch" NOTHING, ZERO COMMUNICATION AND ZERO SYMPATHY
* refused to discuss birth control options
*denied any possibilities of migrating IUD's (even though this has been officially documented)
*disrespectful, condescending, unprofessional. Literally said "that can't hurt, I'm not close to the cervix, you're dramatic"
*does not have your health in your best interest. I am concerned with hormone levels and she said that my symptoms were not hormone related, Furthermore, Dr. Saraf did not refer me to do any actual blood test or urine test to confirm, which is negligent
*Did not tell me what to expect before or after the appointment. The receptionist is the only good thing about her practice, I received more useful information like "take ibuprofen 20 minutes beforehand" etc, than I did from the actual doctor. Receptionist gets 5 stars
*Dr. Saraf is the worst OBGYN I have ever came across. I wish I believed the negative reviews.

Every experience I have with her is more negative than the one before. She is condescending and inconsiderate. I cannot wait to switch gynaecologists because anyone and I repeat anyone would be better than her. I asked a lot of questions regarding IUD’s and she was very judgemental and made it seem as though I should have already known the answers and that I was asking dumb questions. Very unprofessional and very rude.
