So far I have had an annual exam and an ultrasound to determine if a hysterectomy would be covered by insurance. Dr. Brodkin was thorough for the annual exam but forgot to call in a prescription that I had clearly told her I had ONE day remaining. I had also asked to have a complete blood work up done at my annual exam but the staff neglected to tell me that I needed to fast prior to testing so I had to come back for another appt. My ultrasound was performed by a tech and then I was ushered to a nurse practitioner that was of no use. I was also scheduled for another test that required a urine sample but since I was not informed of this prior to the appt, I was unprepared. Because I couldn't provide the urine sample, the test could not be performed. As the Dr was already more than 30 minutes late to the appointment, I had to reschedule my appt. They do not bother to inform patients of requirements prior to appts or delays of the Dr. I will be looking for another Dr.

I was told that I had pre-eclampsia based upon finding high protien in my 24 hour urine test and high blood pressure. I was sent from the hospital back to the OB/GYN office where I was told to meet with Dr. Brodkin, that I was being put on bedrest for the remainder of my pregnancy. My usual doctor was on vacation. As I arrived at the doctor's office and told to wait Dr. Brodkin went storming out and I was never told why. I just went home and kept going to work until my regular doctor came back. I do NOT recommend this office. The nurses are nice. That is all I can say.

Dr. Tara Brodkin is the best. I had some complications on the delivery of my first baby. Since she did not deliver my first child She had requested my records to review. She took this very seriously and watched me very carefully throughout my entire pregnancy and going over several options for the delivery. I trusted her and went with her recommendations. I am so glad I did, the day I went into the hospital was so easy. I was induced and several hours later only pushed for 25 minutes and delivered a healthy baby girl. Dr. Brodkin was so prepared and in charge that everything went so smooth. I appreciate her so much. I highly recommend Dr. Brodkin.

Dr. Brodkin took time to explain the results of my tests. I never felt that she was rushing me out of the office so that she could go to her next patient. I felt that she was truly concerned about me and that I could trust her concern, her knowledge and her dedication to helping me with my problem.

Dr. Brodkin is great! I just had my baby and it went so well. She and Tiffany, her assistant, were always answering my questions and I never felt rushed. My delivery experience with her was wonderful. She is a very knowledgeable and competent doctor.

This office has an automated calling system which leave a message on your voice mail telling you to call a phone number and enter a password to be able to get your lab results. I entered the password and it did not work to allow me to retrieve my lab results. I called the office and talked to staff in 3 different positions who were either rude and refused to help or said they would fix the problem but didn't. In all, their recorded message system left a message on my machine every day for 2 weeks and it took 5 calls to them to get them to stop the automated messages. Knowing this, I told them that they needed to resolve the password problem before the next time that I needed to be informed of lab results, or call me in person with my results. They didn't address the problem and now their automated system has left a message on my machine for 5 days. I have called the office 4 times and they still haven't fixed the problem. I will be switching to a doctor with competent, caring staff.

Dr Brodkin is terrific! She delivered my son in 2008, and I was always impressed with her knowledge and the amount of time she spent with me.

I made my appointment, filled out all the paperwork ahead of time. I arrived to my appointment 20 minutes early as requested. I waited in the outer waiting room an hour and 20 minutes. I was then taken to the exam room where I was asked to disrobe and waited another 45 minutes. The staff were unprfessional, speaking openly about other patients and in general disorginized. I would not return to this office as their main conserns is cosmetic surgery and not womens needs.
