I have been seeing Dr. Somani for some time now. She was recommended to me by a close friend. Dr. Somani and her great staff makes time for you, squeezes you in if you need help and does all they can to help her patients.

Would definitely not recommend Dr Somani to anyone! She doesn't have any passion, heart or emotion toward her job! Makes you feel like just another # or dollar sign $!

The office has just one front desk office person/receptionist, who is incredibly rude, unhelpful and inept. That is also the case with her farmed out medical billing service who never return calls from either the patient or the Insurance company reps. The doctor reads the lab reports out to the patient, and does not encourage questions or discussions. I found it difficult to discuss anything with this doctor. She is conventional in her method, and prone to putting patients on medications rather than seeking or suggesting alternative cures and methods. The Doctor too can be quite rude, and difficult to work with. She was crestfallen when my lab results come out normal, and was jubilant when the lab results showed any signs of problems, which was odd and discouraging. Her professional credentials are not posted in any obvious location, and one wonders why not. Her additional staff is a nurse, who is quite good.

She was initially polite, however did not seam to have read over any of the brief paperwork I was told to fill out in advace which clearly explained why I was there. She went completely off topic focusing on an issue that I did not come in for. She took a look at the the medication I am on for chronic pain due to an injury and decided I needed antidepressants and possibly psycotherapy without asking any social questions. I came in with frequent infections, female issues, fatigue and possibly allergic reaction issues which had nothing to do with depression. Obviously chronic pain would cause you to be down but I have other systems in place to help me and she never bothered to ask or let me explain. When I tried to redirect she continually cut both me and my boyfriend off mid sentence. She was argumentative, judgemental and unkind. I was rather surprised because I had heard good things from a patient of hers that loves her. I think she looked at my pain medication and made a bad call.
