Cares more about being called an “Affiliate” of Novant than healing people. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Greed in healthcare is not good

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I trusted the referral of DR Susan Pabst from my primary care physician. Upon consultation I was prepared with a lot of anxious questions, She was also prepared very well by answering and explaining almost every question I had intended to ask along with letting me bring in family members that was very concerned also. I was very appreciative of this I’m rushed Time she took to make us more knowelegeable of my diagnoises . She performed a lumpectomy on me which went very smoothly , very little scarring and very little pain. Almost none . As everyone knows cancer is a life altering process that can include ongoing treatments and follow ups. I am sure I will continue to have her as my very friendly and knowelegable physician and surgeon during my journey with this. Thanks Dr Pabst !👍

AWESOME just can't describe Dr. Susan Pabst !! She removed an umbilical hernia after I had been told my two well know surgeons in Hickory that they would not touch it. My recovery was a breeze. I would highly recommend her. If I ever need surgery again she will be the one I go to first!!!

Dr. Pabst treated my mother for almost 4yrs for cancer and currently treats my sister for leukimia and my father. On May 28, 2013 she removed a large egg sized tumor from my thyroid....i expected the surgery and scar to be horrible. IT WAS AWESOME!! Well as far as surgery goes. I was in almost no pain and here 7mo. later you can't even tell i had surgery! There is NO mark on my neck. Thank God the tumor turned out to be non cancerous. She is a wonderful surgeon...the staff is courtious and compassionate.....and i recommend her highly. If i or any of my family EVER need her type of expertise in the future....unless she retires....shes my doctor for life....THANK YOU DR.PABST IF U EVER SEE THIS ..YOUR AWESOME !!!

An absolutely wonderful surgeon and person. If ever I need any other surgery, she will be the first person I call. An out-of-town specialist did my first surgery, which had to be done over. Dr. Pabst did my second surgery and did an absolutely wonderful job. The difference in the recovery was so much better with Dr. Pabst. I can't say enough good things about her.

Very impressed with Dr. Pabst and the staff at her office- everyone has always been so helpful. She is also a very comforting and nice surgeon to have if you are a woman!
