Dr. Marlino is wonderful. She has delivered two of my girls and has provided care for me while I am pregnant with our first son. Dr. Marlino is rarely punctual, but her bedside manner is very empathetic. She cares about me as a person, not just my pregnancy, and is always calm, professional and knowledgeable. Having her own practice while delivering babies must be a very difficult balance. I am thankful that I know the doctor who will deliver my 3rd baby as I would not want to rely on a stranger in the toughest moments before birth, so I tolerate the wait. The negative reviews sound like a completely different doctor than Dr. Marlino. Her staff is also warm, cordial, and professional. The staff is very kind to my two girls during the waits. They always have books and coloring books in the waiting room and respect me if I say the girls haven't earned a lollipop. They engage the girls in conversation and always ask how Daddy is doing.

Dr. Marlino is wonderful. She listens to your concerns and formulates a practical plan. The wait is long but she is a solo practitioner and well worth the wait!!!

I do agree with everyone on this board that you can expect a wait when visiting Dr Marlino - however, that is one of the things I absolutely love about her. She does not rush her patients and will spend as much time with you as needed.

I have found that the wait times decreased substantially when she opened her private practice. In addition, the level of care and service increased. This clinic reminds me of a small town practice and I feel so fortunate to be a patient here!

Dr. Marlino is great! If you choose to see Dr. Marlino, you need to understand that she is an independent practitioner and you may end up waiting an hour or more if she has to run up to L&D to deliver a baby and check on a patient. It's a tradeoff that I've found to be very much worth it. Dr. Marlino is clearly passionate about her work and is a caring physician. She listens to concerns and provides information. As one of her OB patients I have found her and her staff to be responsive and respond accordingly to minor (may get back to me the next day) or major (calling back right way) concerns. I definitely recommend Dr. Marlino for OB care and I am very, very, picky about my doctors.

I've been w/Dr. Marlino for over 15 years & since going on her own she has become very jaded & money oriented. She's totally changed. She has no empathy for issues you are having & just recommends tests/biopsy's as answers. Will NOT RETURN CALLLS. I went to another Dr & she totally disagreed w/Marlinos diagnosis & saved me time, money & the stress of unnecessary procedures. Her staff is horribly cold & insensitive as other reviewers stated. She charged additional fees for just spending time talking about concerns I had..which should be "normal" time with a patient. I made several attempts to speak to her for an issue I was having & wanted to discuss test results. After 4 calls & ONE MONTH LATER she finally called me back & was very "matter of fact", mean, accusatory & inappropriate. I had mentioned a problem with a staff member & she basically called me a liar stating her staff member did not say something she CLEARLY did. Not to mention she told me she felt it was best I go elsewhere

Not happy with her at all. After asking for mammogram at every annual check up due to my family history and her telling me that it's unnecessary, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer after another doctor recommended a mammogram. I think it could have been caught earlier had she given me a script. After I was diagnosed - no phone call, no courtesy either. Also, I waited for her for about an hour before every routine visit.

Unfortunately agreed with the other negative comments listed here. Wait time has been over 45 minutes every time, up to an hour and a half one visit. Does not return (multiple) calls. Dr Marlino appears to be technically proficient but is VERY lacking in any sense of bedside manner or showing any sort of empathy toward her patients. She is VERY rough with the physical exams (every time) despite mentioning it. Everything is non-chalant and the caring for patients' feelings or concerns is just not there. As another reviewer said, no apologies for any of it even when talking to her about it. It's not her fault ever. Very disappointing as we chose her from a set of good reviews before, but now we know better and are moving on to a different doctor.

My last 2 visits I have waited 45 minutes in the waiting room and another 20 minutes in the back room before I see the doctor. I guess this is typical protocol because the dr. does not even acknowledge it or apologize. She also does not return phone calls - I can only reach a nurse, even in one situation that was pretty urgent. She is kind and patient when I meet with her but I will most likely be looking for a new practice.

Dr. Marlino was wonderful. She is very intelligent, caring and takes the time to explain everything and answer questions. Her nurses are all great, but the secretaries are not very kind. She usually saw me on time, except when she had another emergency to take care of (which is understandable in my opinion). Overall, I highly recommend her to anyone planning to have a baby. Paoli hospital was also a great place to deliver.

Dr. Marlino performed an unnecessary elective surgery on me after agreeing not to. In the middle of this painful procedure I clearly reminded her that I did not want this done, and she CONTINUED. She gossiped to my sister, another patient, about how ridiculous my reaction was, and how it was the best for the baby NOT TRUE and NOT NECESSARY and NONE OF MY SISTER'S BUSINESS. I had previous told her that we were not close and that I did not want her knowing anything about my treatment. HIPAA?!? She insisted on inducing after only one week when she originally said two. Shocker: my body was not ready and we needed a C-section afterwards she said my baby would have been DEAD if we hadn't b/c of meconium - but my water was clear when she broke it so meconium was because of UNNECESSARY induction. She spends a lot of time in each patients room (hence the wait) you will think she is listening and cares about you personally - DO NOT THINK THAT - Marlino = Birth Trauma
