Dr. Michelle Conroy is hands down, the best Pediatrician for our child. She is caring and nurturing, and since day one in Palos Hospital my son was comfortable with her. He took right to her, not so with other Dr's. She thoroughly explained all procedures and put me and my son @ ease. Was sorely disappointed when she left Kim And Calvert. She was the best one on staff. Elmhurst is a little far, but she is definitely worth the trip!

My children see Dr. Conroy at her new practice. She is a wonderful doctor, very patient & calm and takes time to explain everything to the parents. She makes the children feel at ease. She is a wonderful addition to the Elmhurst staff.

With 3 children, I've pretty much seen every issue from eye surgery, to ADHD, to stitches, to hospitalizations. I have found the pediatricians at this office to be knowledgeable and communicative. They tend to be conservative in their treatment and are willing to defer to specialists when there is need (my kids have been sent to see a cardiologist, a dermatologist, opthamologists and a psychologist over the years). When a child is sick, they work hard to fit you into their schedule plus they are good about returning calls in a timely manner, even during off hours. Dr. Conroy is a good addition to the staff. She is friendly and gentle with her patients, and explains things well to both them and to the adults. My kids have responded well to her. Two small negatives (not specific to Dr. Conroy!) are that presciptions need to be picked up in person (no phone ins) and the waiting room is not very kid friendly (bring books or small toys to keep little ones entertained).
