Oh so many things hard to know where to start. The lady at the front desk was really great, everyone else, needs to consider working with people. Maybe if you are old and jaded this is your guy, we walked out and my Daughter said please Mom, don't ever make me go there again, And all they did was sort of schedule the work, they didn't even actually perform a procedure. They didn't run the insurance, I'm not sure why I wasted an hour of my life, but let me save you that hour!

Receptionist there seems to have the ability to adequately communicate with patients. Was told my daughter was having two teeth pulled at he beginning of January. My wife and I wasted an hour drive as well as both of us missing work for what turned out to be a consultation. Completely contradictory of what the receptionist told our referring Dentist. A consultation that literally lasted less then 2 minutes. My daughter has high anxiety and was being criticized by the dental tech who couldn't comprehend why my daughter was crying and near hyperventilation because she was under the impression her teeth were going to be pulled. Tried to schedule the procedure for the following week but were told they were backed up on appointments for a month. Unreal considering the waiting room was completely empty from the time we checked in, waited in the waiting room for 25 minutes and the time we checked out. Gave them a second chance after our referring dentist was able to get our daughter scheduled on Inauguration Day. We were told to arrive at 7:45 am for a 8 am appointment. We checked in and proceeded to wait with our daughter and other two children. 35 minutes go by and my wife inquired why we needed to be there 15 minutes before our appointment time. The receptionist stated the Dr. and his assistants were preparing for the "surgery." We were then handed a clipboard with a form that needed to be filled out. Would have been nice to get that when the copay was given. During this entire waiting time our daughter had a dry cough because she was under orders from the Dr. to not eat or drink anything after midnight. The receptionist heard her coughing as well as other staff in the office. Not a question was raised to her coughing. Finally after forty minutes my daughter and I were called back. The dental assistant took us to a small, unclean and cluttery room. My daughter sat while the assistant was speaking to me. They had no clue which teeth were being extracted. Considering we spent forty minutes in the waiting room while the supposedly prepared they did not have a single thing ready. Very unorganized and unprofessional. My daughter coughed a few times, again no question regarding the cough was asked. Dr. King then entered and asked if she had a cough. I told him she did and he said we will have to schedule this for another day. He then took a stethoscope and listened to her lungs. He then asked if she had a sore throat, she answered yes. Rightfully so, I'd have a sore throat if I were unable to drink any water upon waking in the morning after going 8 hours without hydration. He then told me he wasn't going to do the procedure as the anesthesia could be very harmful with her cough. At this point I told him this was becoming ridiculous. He then became very defensive and asked why. I then informed him how we had wasted one trip over under the impression the procedure was going to be done that day only to find it was a consultation. He said that was not his offices fault and that was our referring dentists fault for not informing us it was a consultation. Strange considering I was involved and present when our referring dentist requested an appointment to extract two teeth with Dr. King's office via telephone. During that call no mention of a consultation was made. It was Dr. King's office who was to blame for inadequately communicating the details. I then attempted to question why his office during this time of year, knowing we were driving an hour to get there couldn't ask a couple simple questions regarding the patient's current health status. Specifically if a cough were present or if a cough developed the day of surgery to inform the office prior to arriving. Had those questions been asked we could have saved a trip. Dr. King was on a rant about consultations still and unable to intelligently understand my side of the argument, which was his offices inability to adequately communicate effectively with patients but he stayed hung up on arguing about consultations. He challenged my intelligence by inferring that I had no comprehension of the necessity for a surgical consultation. I do understand the need for consultations but his inability to effectively and appropriately communicate with me in a professional manner caused me to tell him "we are done here" as I tossed his clipboard with forms and pen his receptionist gave me to fill out on a table. My daughter and I then proceeded to the waiting room, while Dr. King still ranted about consultations, and greeted my wife stating my disgust for Dr. King and his poor excuse for a business. On our way home we made contact with our family dentist who said she would attempt to help our daughter conquer her fear of dentists and extract her teeth that same day. Our daughter was brave, she conquered her fear and our dentist was able to extract the two teeth after a good pep talk, some lidocaine and nitrous oxide. Don't waste your time with Dr. King.

Reception was rude said I should look for a different oral surgeon. I don't think she should be working their if she doesn't treat people with more respect.

I didn't feel like we got adequate instructions, they rushed us out of the office, we had no written documentation for after surgery care. The doctor didn't talk to us after surgery and I never got to meet him. having to pay up front I would think the office building wouldn't be so run down, 1000.00 was a lot for being there less than 45minutes. My daughter said it was the worst unfriendly experience she has had.

No problem with Dr. King, but he has an office assistant that is very rude and condescending. Seems as if she hates her job, and not shy about taking it out on patients.
