I find Dr. DePonte to be an awesome doctor. He listens well, is very quick and intelligent, has good people skills, gives you a feeling like he cares. On the other hand the partner, upon his absence could seem to give a hoot about Dr. DePonte's clients so don't bother. Sorry but I'm honest on both sides.

Three people in my family see Dr. De Ponte. We have been more than pleased for over 8 years. He is kind and attentive never rushed. Does this mean you have to wait sometime in his waiting room ~ yes. But don't you want to see a Dr. who listens to you and gives you important feed back. Who needs a Doctor who yells or ignores your input to your own health. He never hesitates to refer you to another doctor if you need one. I think he is everything I am looking for in a GP/Family doctor.

Good GP, casual manner (not all into formality/pomposity), thoughful, caring, not over-bearing and authoritarian. Gives information and makes a recommendation but allows patient to determine own treatment needs. Oh yeah, and he's rather amusing.

Very chatty and seems to have a personal interest in his patients. Does not aggressively "force" medications/treatments; has a relaxed attitude re: medical care, is philosophical rather than dictatorial (which suits me fine) and seeks to educate the patient. I would imagine there are better doctors in the world; however, I have been satisfied w/Dr. DePonte since I do not wish to have a whole lot of medical meddling in my life and case. I would recommend Dr. D. as a good family/general practice physican.
