At our first initial consultation, he probably spent two hours with us. He was encouarging, told us we'd get pregnant very quickly. However, every other appointment after was extremely rushed, and I constantly had to remind him who I was (despite seeing him almost every other day for ultrasounds). I never felt like all of my questions were answered and always felt like I was bothering the unkind staff. The biggest problem however was when he deviated from the plan. We were going to do a series of tests before beginning IUI. I received a call that we were moving forward with IUI before the tests. Was never told why. We began treatment with a rather high dose of Clomid - which resulted in my producing over 6 follicles (not to mention numerous horrible side effects and minor OHSS). I was then asked about selective reduction and as we were not ok with it, the cycle was cancelled. I was repeatedly berated for my decision. The coordinator was extremely rude to us. To add insult to injury, he admitted he didnt read my chart and we should have done the tests first. And for some reason, they wanted us to wait 3 months to try again as the coordinator was going on leave. We'e waited long enough and don't have time to put up with someone who is too overworked to do something as simple as read a chart. We have lost all confidence and will not be returning.

BEST DOCTOR EVER - There literally isn’t enough space to review this man thoroughly and give him the proper amount of praise for how truly amazing he is. This IVF and infertility thing is a crazy emotional roller coaster but you can guarantee he will get on it with you and help guide you the entire way. From the moment I met Dr. Simckes I knew he was MY doctor. I felt completely at ease. He talks to you like you’re his best friend who he has known his entire life and takes the time to get to know you and your case making you feel like it’s a much less clinical experience and way more relationship based. I got SO much more out of this than I thought I would and he has a fan patient for life. YOU WILL LOVE HIM! Don’t hesitate to use this doctor!!

Dr. Simckes is a brilliant, kind, thoughtful physician with a helpful and courteous heart. He gave us our options crystal clear when we we mentally and emotionally drained and helped us to make a decision. He helps us pass thru the rigourous process with courage and joy. He is the main reason we have our son "the gift of God" with us today. We love the staff and they were outstanding especially Denise who sailed with us through this tough process. Very grateful to this office.

I cant adequately express in words how wonderful Dr. Simckes and his staff are. We visited several fertility clinics prior to choosing this one, so I feel I have a pretty good sample to compare to, and Dr Simckes is truly a unique, brilliant and dedicated soul. He and his staff treated us like real people, (with hopes, dreams, fears, and concerns) not just a number in a cycle. We had a lot of obstacles in our way, but with his and his staffs, help, support, knowledge and guidance, I am happy to say we are expecting our miracle baby in Sept. We couldn't have done it would out them, and are so grateful.

I will not be returning to Dr. Simckes, he did not listen to me as a patient. Was never on time, even when I was the first patient of the day. He only seemed concerned with ivf.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Simckes. He made us feel so comfortable with a very sensitive issue (infertility) and we completely put our trust in him. During the process of IVF, Dr. Simckes and his staff were very positive and set realistic expectations. IVF is psychologically and physically draining, and Dr. Simckes's approach shows he understands that and will do anything to make you feel comfortable. It was nice to have a Doctor that truly cared and showed such warmth and responsiveness.
Dr. Simckes is not only an amazing specialist but also has a great bedside manner. His staff is supportive and very competent. I would send (and have) any close friends or family to him for care.

Dr. Simckes recently performed my Abdominal Myomectomy. I was referred to Dr. Simckes for a second opinion on a medical condition that had been wreaking havoc on my well-being for several years. What I found was a doctor that not only provided an alternative solution to my health problems, but was also willing to help me avoid having a Hysterectomy while still in my childbearing years. Dr. Simckes was objective, honest and understanding. He answered all of my questions leading up to my surgery and beyond. He is well credentialed, very informative and extremely thorough in his explanations, which made me feel at ease about my upcoming procedure. In addition to being an expert surgeon and female health specialist , I also found Dr. Simckes to be very attentive. Not only did he follow-up with me a few hours after my surgery, he also paid me a hospital visit the very next day and went out of his way to contact me after my release to check on my progress. Although, I am still in the after surgery “recovery period,” I can honestly say that I feel 1000% better than I did prior to having the surgery and most importantly; when and if the time comes, I am still able to conceive. Bottom line, I found this doctor and the Fertility Partnership staff to be personable, intelligent, patient, caring, experienced, honest and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend this doctor to anyone having female health issues or looking for fertility care. .

I want to start by saying that in my entire life I have never felt more comfortable with a doctor. We started our session off by just getting to know each other. He talked to Jon and I about our jobs, our lives, and for only a small time- our TTC journey thus far. At the end of our talk he said he was sad, because he wasn’t going to know us long. For the first time in a while I felt relief. After our consultation he ran tests on Jon and I. I had an internal ultrasound and blood work done- all for the cost of my normal OB copay. We decided to do an analysis on Jon’s swimmers as well- $125 for peace of mind seemed fair to me.
