After getting a second opinion in Manhatten by a colo/rectal surgeon, I decided on using Dr. Sabido on Staten Island for elective colon resectioning for diverticulitis. Dr. Sabido's technique using robotic-assisted da Vinci technology helped me have an excellent experience with this surgery. I was actually back at work five days after the surgery. I strongly believe using the robotic approach made him take more than what the colonoscopy said to remove. Had the 3-D camera not have seen this, I might have had a recurring episode in the future. I highly recommend using this surgeon for robotic surgery.

I went to my general doctor and told him about my double hernia which was very large and uncomfortable. My doctor advised me that it needed to be taken care of right away. Dr. Sabido performed robotic hernia surgery on me asap and I have been fine ever since. I highly recommend Dr. Sabido and his staff and especially the robotic option. It has been 4 months since the operation and I feel great. I thank you Dr. Sabido and your staff for resolving my issue quickly and professionally.

Dr. Sabido performed robotic hernia surgery on me and the pain tolerance is night and day versus the previous methods. Ten years ago I had inguinal hernia surgery the "old fashioned" way before the robot was an option. If you are thinking about hernia surgery - go with Dr. Sabido and especially the robotic option. You will be back to work very shortly after with no pain pills.

I was in pain with tubes and IV medication and had five CAT scans. I finally had enough and went to Dr. Sabido for a second opinion. He looked at my CAT scan and knew right away what my diagnosis was. Before seeing Dr. Sabido I spent 10 days in the hospital the staff there and the surgeon I was seeing all misdiagnosed me. Dr. Sabido did my surgery right away. I was in the hospital one night. He ended my 5 month nightmare. DR. SABIDO IS THE BESTπŸ˜€πŸ˜€ THANK YOU DR. SABIDO πŸ˜€ AND HIS STAFF WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND A PLEASURE TO TALK TO πŸ˜€

My mother went to him to remove a cancerous mass in her ileum which meant removing part of her colon. The surgery went ok. Afterward he told her to resume a normal diet...Have steak, pizza, anything you would normally have. Well that poor advice almost killed her. She ended up with a blockage in her bowels and rapidly declining kidney function. She could not keep food down for 9 days. In the hospital she was told she was supposed to follow a "low residue" diet aka not at all what Sabido said. He almost killed her yet when we called him he refused to see her in the hospital. Awful man who has no right to practice medicine.

When my son's wound became infected he no longer wanted to speak with me. I was in the ER and he refused to come in and see my 16 year old son. When I met him in his office he blamed my son for the stitches ripping. I told him my son had a problem with anesthesia, when Dr. Sabido came to let us know that his surgery went well I asked how my son came out of the anesthesia he said fine. I latter found out he did not stay with my son, he had his staff close my son's wound. I can only assume that my son woke up wild and tore a stitch. (after I was told he came out fine and he was not in the room) He is a great surgeon until he makes a mistake then he does not want to know you. KEEP YOU KIDs AWAY FROM HIM!!!

Dr. Sabido put me through tremendous pain. He botched two hernia surgeries in 5 months and it took another doctor 2 1/2 hours to fix the mess Sabido made.
