Dr Pearce, botched a PEG tube procedure. Tube was installed, and he waited 6 days to check back on my wife. During those 6 days the wound drained profusely and became infected. On the sixth day when he got around to follow up he had to pull the tube. He indicated that the "ballon" didn't inflate. So botched installation, delayed follow up, and a patient that could not receive food. His demeanor projected an arrogant and could careless about the patient attitude. This guy is bad, request a different surgeon.

I had 2 surgeries done by Dr. David Pearce and he did a very good job and was truly concerned about my well being. He explained what was happening and what needed to be done and the next day I was in surgery and He called me to check up on me on a Saturday. How many Dr.'s do you know today take the time to do that for their patients . The staff are nice and they help you, when you have questions and forms that need attention in order to keep your job. They are highly qualified know what they are doing. I thank God for them and their help and concern.. I will highly recommend Dr. David Pearce, Maryann and Lydia.

"Please remove Dr David Pearce, 361-991-1290, 613 Elizabeth St., of Corpus Christi, Tx from the list of Dr's who supposedly accept VA vouchers. I really hope there is a way of keepi
ng Dr's who did accept vouchers who currently don't from going back to accepting them. Once a Dr put money ahead of Vets, I feel they are no longer worthy of the privilege of serving VETS as we once served for our country."

I have had a Colonoscopy about 4 years ago and double hernia surgery on Jan. 16. Dr. Pearce is excellent. He explained everything before and after. He called me at home the day after my surgery to check on me. He is my General Surgeon of choice.
