Dr. Anderson is amazing!!! He replaced the disc between C 5&6 which was in two pieces and the vertebrae was crushing my nerve. I was in constant unbearable pain for over 20 years. The day after surgery, he removed my neck brace and my only pain was from the surgery itself. Within four days I was eating a regular diet and the nerve pain was completely gone.

During the next 45 days I experienced some phantom pain in the nerve area maybe 5 to 6 times, which was probably from overexerting myself and 20 years of the nerve being crushed. I am now 12 weeks post surgery and completely pain free.

Dr. Anderson is truly an expert in this field. If you are experiencing any neck pain please do yourself a favor and contact him.

His staff will also be there for you from start to finish. Chassidy is very knowledgeable and will make sure you receive the care and instructions you need. Excellent customer service!!! 5-star staff!!!

Dr. Anderson is as much an artist as a great surgeon. His heart is to help people, to heal them . He operated on my spine. I was disabled and in pain. I am now active and pain free. Every day I thank God for Dr. Anderson.

I believe that Dr. Anderson is the finest Neurosurgeon in OC. He is knowledgeable and presents you with the truth about your issues. He “tells it as it is” and takes the time to review your radiology exams with you.
I had L/S spine surgery by Dr. Anderson 5 years ago and feel confident that he did the amazing job of alleviating my pain.
Thank you, Dr. Anderson

he was on call from ER at Anaheim Memorial Hospital is how he became surgeon for brain bleed. He was blunt to point of rudeness with the ICU staff but explained what would be done next day in surgery. The problem was with follow-up to have bandages removed and redone, he instead used two rolls of gauze and totally wrapped my head too tightly and then taped it solidly to my forehead and back of head after he had ripped off two bandages in opposite direction of hair growth (head had been shaved 9 days prior) causing undue pain. Before I left office I told office person that the wrap was too tight causing much head pain, she went to his office and asked and his reply was tough, deal with it. Fast forward 7 hrs to vomiting, more pain that I had experience post surgery and migraine. When I finally reached him, his reply " it's not the bandage, it's not too tight, you can remove it and apply band-aids" and hung up on me. I will not keep appointment to have staples removed, nor will I ever see him again. I will have my primary care remove the staples and find another neuro for follow ups. The pain caused was totally unnecessary and so is his pompous attitude.

Amazing--my husband has a very bad disc problem in his back. We finally got there - after waiting a long time for an authorization. We really thought that this might be the answer for his problem (2nd opinion). He had a CAT scan and all the proper paperwork with him. The receptionist was abrupt and rude. When the doctor finally got there, I had noticed he had come quickly from the room next door, so I said that was quick. Thinking I was being sarcastic, he gave me such a look. Then my husband started telling him the problem, and the "doctor" said, I don't do your doctor's patients. My husband said, why is he a bad doctor? And Dr. Anderson said, no. No apology for wasted time, no referral to another doctor, nothing. The doctor was just a depressed guy. And then the receptionist/back room helper finally told us to get out--like that lol Really? He did okay my eye problem...You should look for another doc, don't you think? Good luck.

Very uncaring but a very good surgeon. Once surgery done he is done with you. He will tell you I'm a Neurosurgeon I only do surgery. Meaning my time is valuable get lost. When you have issues after surgery good luck he won't deal with you. I would recommend you find a different neurosurgeon. One that you can call and one that will follow your care.
