He's not rude, just doesn't have the best bed side manner. But IS A GREAT and Neurosurgeon. He loves what he does, researches all things new. I would rather have a Dr like this, than one who is friendly and doesn't really know what he is doing.. He Did Great surgery on me........!!!!!!! Great Dr

The staff is completely RUDE and NASTY. They act like they are doing you a huge favor instead of just doing their job. I found Dr Anderson completely arrogant and lacking ability to explain things or he didnt want to take the time to explain things. He did my back surgery and I am in more pain now than before my surgery. I cannot even walk 100 yrds without tears in my eyes. The constant achIng , cramping and pain now post surgery is unbearable. I still have some of the pains that I went in for and now have a host of new ones. I had this surgery before with Dr Michael Gorden from Newport Beach and it went fine. I had no complications and was pain free for 10 years. This surgery was suppose to just be a basic stenosis redo of what was done before. All Dr Anderson did was to ship me off to pain management. He had not remorse or empathy for my current condition that he caused I would never recommend this surgeon.

I love this Dr. Most people say he is stand offish and on the rude side. I find compared to most dr's is just the opposite. I took my granddaughter with me, and she adores him, he showed her MrI's and explained exactly what was wrong. This time when I saw him he asked me to bring her back. He is the smartest dr around, and I trust him with my life.

First time in my life leaving a doctors office before the appt. 45 minutes in, I asked what the deal was and received complete attitude, being told how they were doing me a favor, I could reschedule a month later if I didn't like it, and how my "actual" apt time was 30 min after what they told me / what time I came in, since I had papers to fill out. This was in addition to various issues and red flags while trying to schedule. Staff were unbelievably arrogant, rude, and unprofessional.

I found this doctor to be extremely uncaring and non-communicative during my several visits to him. He dismissed or laughed off any questions I posed to him about my health as if everything out of my mouth was stupid. He did not seem to care that I am not a doctor myself and therefore needed help understanding my condition. He made no effort to help me understand either my condition or my options for treatment, but rather made me feel like a fool for asking him questions relating to either. Used much of our time touting his extensive knowledge and experience, but made little effort to connect with my case or to understand me as a patient. In fact, he made several INCORRECT statements during the time he did discuss my case (about the location of a cyst and my age) which showed me he had not listened to much of what I was saying. Very arrogant and not helpful. Look elsewhere for a neurosurgeon if you can.

This guy told me I needed surgery right away. It had only been a few days since my injury. Later I learned that conservative care says you let yourself heal. He spooked me telling me I would wind up crapping myself in a wheelchair. What a hack. He wanted to cut, cut, cut. I ended up healing up pretty good but went with another more consevative surgeon and had a less invasive procedure. Dr. Anderson is rude and so is his staff. He deserves the train wreck reputation he has in the pain management community. Everyone cleans up his messes. I wouldn't see this guy again if he was the last MD on earth.

I was told he was good. But I realized how uncaring and unsympathetic he was. Did not take the time to explain to me why IO needed surgery. I had to do my research. He was good after surgery with the care in the hospital, but after that, never wrote any of myy complaints, boobooed any of my complaints and did not write the correct reports of my complaints. Does not care. Does not care.

Dr. Anderson was rude from the moment he walked in the door. He bluntly told me I was in too serious of shape for him to help me. He then said a few more dark, rude things and then walked out. I had to chase him down the hall with more questions which he didn't answer. He offered me no referral referrals. Seldom do you meet someone so callous and uncaring. Judging by the paperwork we had to fill out to see him, he is big into investing in various ventures. I'd really caution anyone from seeing this doctor, especially when there are so many great, skilled and decent neurosurgeons in the area. This Anderson fellow is a jerk without equal.
