I find the earlier comments hard to understand. Dr. Powers is the only doctor I have enjoyed going to in a very long time. He takes an interest in his patient's overall health, not just whatever short-term concern they bring into the office. There are not many doctors these days who want to make sure you are exercising enough, not smoking, not drinking too much, eating right, and not suffering from any quality of life issues. I never found any of his questions inappropriate. I sensed that he loves his job and is very interested in applying the latest medical information to his patient's lives. Perhaps he was overworked (directed to dispatch as many patients as possible per day) at previous medical groups he worked with and was not at his best(?) In fact, he has stopped working with North Reading Medical and I am trying to find out where he went because I don't want any other doctor -- I just hope he didn't retire!

Dr. Dan Powers is absolutely the best doctor my family has ever had. A great listener, never rushes us, and compassionate. He personally returns phone calls (even on weekends) and does research to find the best solutions. We have recommended him to our colleagues and friends as well.

Dr. Powers is the best doctor I have ever had. We followed his practice to North Reading Medical. He spends a lot of time analyzing and explaining possible causes and ensures the patient understands. He asks questions about daily routines which may affect stress and overall health to make sound recommendations on preventative medicine. He is very professional. The office staff is very friendly and remembers our kids. Highly recommend.

I followed Dr Powers from his Lawrence practise to N Reading. He is knowledgeable, thorough,kind, and he listens to you. I would not be traveling to N reading if I didn't feel he was an exceptional Doctor.

I am very pleased with Dr. Powers as my primary care physician. I completely trust Dr. Powers in caring for my well being. He is a very thorough physician. I would highly recommend Dr. Powers to anyone I know.

I feel that Dr. Powers took the time with me and made me feel very comfortable. I noticed and made me aware of a medical condition that I had and was NOT caught by another DR....Oh BTW..I'm not seeing the Dr. anymore. Dr.Powers in my mind is a DR. I would recommend highly.

Dr Powers treatment is unhumane. He treats patients liek they are a bother to him. He is not concerned with there actually well being, Defintly not a primary who cares. Very inconsistent, disregards his patients health issues. This doctor is very rude, dismisses patients like his job is a chore!

Dr. Powers is one of the rudest doctors I have ever met. He dimisses everything and basically treated me like I was just a body, NOT a human being. He is rude and abrupt and basically I have switched doctors in the same practice because he left such a bad taste in my mouth. I had heard terrible things about him, but never thought I should judge until I meet him. Well he is the rudest person and hates his profession obviously. His staff was also rude, but I can live with that if he made me comfortable. My friends and my brother was right about him.

I find Dr Powers to be very attentive to my question and concernes and his assistant to be most helpfuly with any questions i have. I recommend him highly to people of all ages.
