I was court ordered to see this doctor only to "win" back my daughter. During my evaluation this doctor stated I was fine and didn't see any psychological problems and I was a person of little to know anxiety. He also stated that he didn't see any other reason as to why we were here other than it was court ordered. In other words a waste of time because I was a "normal" person. Unfortunately, I was not able to see the report because I didn't have an attorney. I did, however, see the report the day of my court date. In the report he stated I "needed further psychological evaluations in order to get my daughter back." I was pretty much "unstable". How are you going to tell me to my face I was fine, that there were no indications I needed further help, and I had little to no anxiety, but turn around and write a dishonest report?? This doctor was in fact a waste of my time and caused me to pretty much lose my daughter by what his report stated. I do not recomment him to anyone!

Dr. Fray has been an outstanding help in my personal journey. He has made me see my strengths as well as my weaknesses and has given me strength to like me again.

I saw this doctor for depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I have been seeing him for 18 months, and have had a wonderful experience. At the beginning of my treatments, I read carefully and signed an agreement to pay for missed appointments and any balance not covered by my insurance. Obviously, not every reviewer read this or thought that it applied to them. The most notable difference between Dr. Fray and other practitioners I have used is the degree to which Dr. Fray will assume a position based on sound psychological science and deliver it in a compassion but straightforward manner. Many practitioners are more "touchy-feely", allowing the patient to come to conclusions about their state, then backtracking when their self-analysis goes awry. Dr. Fray values his time AND MINE and we accomplish a great deal more in each session. Sometimes, he shares evaluations that I don't want to hear, but to date, every one has been accurate and proven to be helpful to my recovery.

PATIENT BEWARE!: I went to this doctor looking for help and have regretted it every since. I made my appointment 2 1/2 months ahead of time. I gave his office my insurance info at that time. I went to the appointment and paid my co-pay. a few days later I received a notice from his office that I owed $150 because they didn't accept my insurance. I couldn't believe it. Why didn't they tell me this ahead of time ie, the 2 1/2 months ahead of time. I work in healthcare, as a nurse in and out of the hospital. I know that it is the responsibilty of the MDs office to verify your insurance and it is their job to ensure that they take your insurance and if they don't, why did I pay a copay? I am now receiving notices from an attorney requiring not only the $150 but a fee for them! I have filed a compliant with the BB. Just be careful and don't trust this guy! KB, Fredericksburg, VA
