Dr. Dean has been my Dr. for some time and my biggest complaint isn't that he is one of the Dr's who explains every problem away with some vague answer and rarely takes your problems serious. He can also be a bit of a ''know it all.'' The best thing about him is that he is punctual, every single time, meaning if you wait over 10 minutes for an appt with him, something is wrong! His nurse, Connie, is very sweet and they ALWAYS follow up with you the very next day on lab work, etc. Dr. Dean just needs to learn to listen to his patients better (after all, who knows your body better than you?) He also needs to try to improve his attitude as he does appear to come across as arrogant and full of himself at times. He really is good about spending an adequate amount of time with you at the visits as well.

This doctor is horrible, rude, and just mean. I would rather die than see this doctor or take my children to see him. He is terrible with children or folks with special needs. If he has knowledge I don't know what area it is in.

I have been seeing Dr. Dean since 1983... that is almost 30 years. I like him just fine.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on knowledgeable, but it's hard to know if someone is knowledgeable when they are so unhelpful. If Dr. Dean were the only doctor available & I were dying, I would choose to die alone. I've known 3 patients who seemed to be doing well & improving in the hospital until he took over their care & then they died within days. The frightening part is that he actually grins as he tells you they are dying. He scares the hell out me.

this doctor is one of a kind in this day and time. he takes time with you and makes sure you understand whats going on.
