Dr. Hakimi is all about making money. He is a fraud. With my first pregnancy he dooped me into having Amniocentesis. He called me in on a Sunday telling my husband and I that they found something in the bloodwork that was unusal and we need to do the Amniocentesis procedure to confirm. I tried to ask his questions since this was all new to me but he kept on cutting me off and ignoring my concerns. By the way, he doesn't want you to have this procedure done somewhere else. He want to do it in his office so that he can make $$$$.

Anyways, to make a long story short. I went to see Dr. Hakimi's partner, Dr. Smith for my second pregnancy. Dr. Smith was on maternity leave. With my first child I has a C-section. I wanted to try VBAC. Dr. Hakimi was on board with my wish. Once again he was so push on the Amniocentesis but this time around I refused. I decided to do the 20 weeks anatomy scan at Hackensack Hospital. He didn't like that so he has me redo it at his office ( this mean he can charge). I ended up paying him and Hackensack for the service. So finally at 32 weeks, he sits me down and tells me that he can't do a VBAC because he doesn't have time and is short staffed. I was so furious. I then started looking for another OBGYN that would take me but I knew my search was very slim since I was too far along my pregnancy. I found one doctor that would take me as his patient and perform VBAC. I immediately stop seeing Dr. Hakimi. I got a few calls from his office for the reason why I am canceling the remaining appointments. I got a call personally from Dr. Hakimi. When I spoke to him he stated putting words in my mouth. He stated that I said that I was okay with a C-section. I never said that to him. Why would I go the extra length to find an OBGYN that would do VBAC. First of all, what he advertises on his website is false. He says he was 3D and 4D ultrasound. That is BULL. With my second pregnancy I didn't even get a ultrasound pic because the so called printer was broken. I found out the truth ..that he didn't want to spent money on ink and printer paper. It is sad that I don't have ultrasound pictures of my 2nd child bacuse of Dr. Hakimi's office. I did get ultrasound pictures from the OBGYN office which I transfered to. Becareful if you transfer, Dr. Hakimi office charge per page for your record. It can get pretty expensive. Also, I discovered in the transfer process that the blood work for my 1st pregnancy which Dr. Hakimi claimed showed somthing unsual...was a lie. The result states inconclusive since specimen was not enough.

Also, I use to wonder why there were so many urine samples just left sitting. The samples should be tested while hot for ketosis. I asked the medical assistant to see a ketosis strip and she was like they ran out. So why are they taking urine samples if they are not testing it? Plain and simple, say that he did and charge us for it. People please be aware he is a fraud. He needs his license to be taken away. His lie will one day catch up to him. Let this speak for it self, his staff (including his midwives ) has a high turn around. Please please avoid this money hungry doctor.
