I was dropped as a patient on a day when I asked for a referral to a specialist with the explanation that I should find another Dr. because I caused the staff to have too much paper work. I needed the form for a standing apt. with a specialist and was not able to keep the apt. This was shocking and completely unprofessional. There was no other explanation and my medical needs , which were immediate, were completely dismissed. This action caused great stress and anxiety and without the help of another Dr. could have resulted in an emergency health issue.

I am 42, male. I am thoroughly happy with Dr. Daum. He is clear and concise, personable, and understands medicine. I had considered going to a younger doctor with newer schooling but I've been overall unimpressed with the younger class. Dr. Daum's experience and continuing education far outweigh the freshmen.

Dr. Daum is "old school." He is very thorough and he cares about your well being. If you want a doctor who spends time with you and gives first class service, you should definitely use him. Even his office is a blast from the past - the furniture and walls are straight from the 1950's. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Anyone 30 or under should go to Dr. Daum to see what a thorough PCP is like. It is a lost art.

I, too, was dropped with no warning after I turned 65 & on Medicare. I called the office for an appt. w/fever & sore throat & was shocked that after 20 yrs as my internist, I was treated cooly & told "Dr. did not participate in Medicare". The uncaring manner in which I was handled hurt me greatly. I had no time to look into whom to choose as a new internist since i was ill & needed to be seen ASAP. I was told i could go to a Walk-In Clinic.

Dr. Daum is great. He takes his time discussing everything with you and makes sure you understand. You don't feel rushed during your appointment. He explains things in terms that we can understand. He is very knowlegable (sp?) and keeps very current on his medical knowledge. My wife and I have been going to him for over 5 years. Excellent doctor! Staff is also friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Dr. Daum has been my primary doctor for nearly 10 years. He has been thorough, practical in his care and treatments and very straighforward on what to expect/require when he had the need to refer me to another doctor. He keeps excellent records of my visits and I feel like a true patient rather than a number in his office (which rarely has me wait at the time of appointments). Great staff in Nancy and Sandy.

I love Dr. Daum, he is exactly the type of doctor I wish all doctors were like. He and his staff are very down to earth and personal yet very professional. He made me feel like he actually cared for me as if I were on of his own daughters or relatives and his staff bent over backwards to help me in area's I would never expect or see staff in other Dr's offices doing. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Daum had been our doctor for over 20 years, but during that time no mention was ever made that he would drop you once you were on Medicare. When making an appointment for an annual physical we were informed of this by his staff rather coldly.

This man is a GREAT primary caare physician. When my longtime doctor retired, I went from doctor to doctor unable to find a good one. Found Dr. Dame 15 years ago and wouldn't even think about seeing someone else. soon after I recommended his to my wife and my sister, and they too love him. A very nice man and knowledgeable doctor.
