I have been going to him since he come to Kingsport. Would not think about going any where else. He takes the time to talk to him. Easy to get into see him when my husband or I am sick. Love his nurse, best ever.

I have had to wait over 75 minutes for this man. Never, NEVER in my life will I do that for a pcp again. That's just rude. No one came out to acknowledge I was even there. He may be great for the normal cold, but otherwise he will overlook a HUGE issue that will send you in the hospital. Do not see this man if you have any diagnosis other than a simple virus or cold that can be fixed with an antibiotic. He won't take time to help you or understand you. Definitely not impressed after all the rave reviews. He needs to reeducate himself on a number of things and SLOW down.

Dr. Misischia is nice, and I like him, and he is good hearted... He's great for colds, kidney infection, and things like that... but in my case, he let me down! I have a thyroid problem and Hashimotos. I was sitting in his office thinking I was going to die any time as my body was in pain. He dismissed me as having depression and sent me on my way. He did not get me in to a specialty doctor for more than 5 months. I suffered very much that length of time! He did not know the clinical TSH is NOT 5.5 now! Depression is NOT my issue! I wish he would read up on the latest about Hashimoto's! I hope he does not do this to all his patients who have thyroid issues! AND he WAS to busy to help me!

In all my 75 years he is the best doctor I have ever had He is never to busy to take me when I am sick the office staff is the greatest also He is never in a hurry always has time to listen to any problems I have and always has addressed them to my complete satisfaction never been disappointed any time with the treatment when I left the office I wish all doctors had his personally would be a great medical field if so I started with him when he move to Kingsport

I have been with Dr. Misischia, well over 10 years, Excellent Doc. He addresses my concerns immediately. Bloodwork 3x annually. Full Physical 2x annually. Would reccomend Dr. Misischia to anyone!

I have been a patient of Dr. Misischia for about 12 years. He is so professional but at the same time he is attentive to my problems and has ALWAYS treated me and fixed my ailments. I find him to be uplifting even in the worst situations---He is a family man that displays photo's of his family so that you feel as if you know them also. I've seen him treat aging patients with the utmost respect. I can't say enough positive experiences with Dr. Misichia, that is why when I saw this website I had to say my peace. I find his staff to also be polite and accomodating.

Dr. M has been mine and my husband dr now for about 12 yrs, He is the most compassionate and caring dr i have ever met. He is passive and not aggressively always wanting to fill you with meds and just put a band aid on the problem.He always listens well, examines and then discusses his plan and if he feels you need a referral or another test he immediately does that too. We have always been able to get in on short notice when you wake up sick and need to be seen soon. He always follows thru with his regimen of care for you and also has always been very punctual: I know many people who love Dr M (old and young). To us he is the greatest
