Dr. Herman was recommended to me by one of the top D.O. Pulmanologist in Oakland county. I have been a patient of Dr. Herman's for 5 years. I adore his staff, they are like family, he is an excellent general practice and always has a smile on his face. Great personality!

At first I was very impressed with Dr. He ran lots of test and seemed to follow thru. Then I had complained my neck was hurting and after 3 months was not getting better, he suggested I might have just twisted and to wait. After another 3 months he did an X-ray and said it was arthritis, this continued for 6-8 months of my complaints. Finally I asked if he couldn't do some kind of scan....Dr. Insisted it was arthritis, but sent me for an MRI (reluctantly). I received a call the next day after hours saying I had a fatal tumor and his office would call me the next day. Four days later they called with a neuro surgeon who specialized in epilepsy... I needed someone who specialized in spinal cord/brain tumors. I am thankful for a referral from my endrocrinologist to an amazing surgeon who saw me right away and cleared his schedule to get me in. Dr. Herman's staff called 6 weeks later wanting to know if I needed a referral to a surgeon. THEY DROPPED THE BALL big time.

I have been in Michigan for 20 years and Dr. Herman is the first doctor I have ever been to that I have stopped thinking - "I will put up with him/her until I get a chance to find someone I like." It's not just the medical background or knowledge - he just relates. He listens and doesn't force anything on you or have that complex which makes you want to reach over and choke them until their eyes bug out when you ask questions. More importantly, my wife likes him. She is the pickiest person I have ever known when it comes to doctors so if she OKs him - then he must be top shelf. As a bonus, he is actually a pretty funny guy as well.

Never found a more sympathetic understanding man. spent time with me & made sure I understood. Every question I had he was able to answer.

Jeff has been my Doctor for around 15 years. He is a thorough and still takes time to make sure you know what he's doing. Sometimes he may be a few minutes off on his schedule but it's because he is being Jeff.... very thorough. If your looking for a doctor to see you through years call the man.
