I used to go to Dr. Belani in Illinois and then I moved to Indiana and my new employer insurance did not cover any dentist out of Indiana. I had a hard time finding a dentist in Indiana that could come anywhere close to Dr. Belani's experience and professionalism. I just changed employers and my new insurance covers his office. I am so excited to go back to Dr. Belani. Yes, I am willing to drive 160 miles to see Dr. Belani. Good thing he has weekend hours! Amazing dentist!!

I have been going to Dr. Belani for 25 years and would reccomend him to anybody. He is considerate and skilled. One time I had an absessed tooth on a Sunday evening, I called the answering service and left a message. Dr. Belani called back within 15 minutes and had me meet him at his office right then. I met him at his office on Sunday night and he extracted the tooth. I don't know of any other dentist that would do this. From that point on I have been a loyal patient, he is excellent.

Actual services were fine, but there is much to be desired by way of his professionalism. I find myself having to make a bunch of trips because he does not spend any time discussing the procedure, what it entails, what you need to get done, actually making sure you get your paperwork/x-rays, nothing. Moreover, you can hardly reach him when you do have a question, and as soon as he is done with your mouth he literally shoves you out the door without any kind of follow up at all. A few minutes to answer my questions after the procedure, and to make sure all the paperwork is taken care of is all I want, is that asking too much? I don't think so.

I have been going to Dr. Belani for years, and although there can be a wait sometimes, there is a reason for it, he's a great dentist and they have very reasonable prices. I have crowns he put in my mouth 25 years ago and they are still doing fine. It gives me piece of mind to know that Dr. Belani has been teaching dentistry at the dental school in Chicago for years, so he must know what he's doing.

I am a current patient. I hope I don't have to go back to this office next year. I am in an HMO and picked this office blindly. On very RARE occasion are they on time. I have been there where my appt was at 9, they didn't take me back to the chair until 10:10, and did not get going on me until 10:40. Very disappointing because they did not apologize to me at all until I made a point of pointing it out. The staff is nice. He is in an old building and there is no charm to the place. I just had a filling put on my tooth and they were going to charge me the wrong amount until I called my insurance company from the front lobby. If he is going to contract with an insurance co, he needs to be accurate with his charges because that is a number one concern of patients across the board.

Dr. Belani is a gentle and knowledgeable dentist, he has been treating me for the last fifteen years and I am yet to have any complaints even with difficult procedures. Recently I went in to get a crown and he did it in only 45 minutes, I had my crown in a week! The prices here are very reasonable and the work is quick and efficient.
