My personal opinion of Dr. Love is that he is one of the worst, most arrogant, judgmental and uncaring doctors I have ever met. He barely appeared to listen to me as an elderly patient, as though my pain was somehow insignificant, or I should be used to it by now. Perhaps he's just as dismissive to younger folks. It's enough to make one wish a pain doctor like this one would experience some actual trauma in his life to make him a better, more compassionate practitioner. He's old enough to be so much more empathic but isn't. Use your walker to get to a doctor who actually cares. Take a pass on Dr. Love for health's sake!

After reading these reviews I was very nervous about meeting with Dr. Love. I don't write reviews but was compelled to after my experience with him yesterday hoping it may ease the nerves of someone else meeting with him in the future. I am no angel taking my pain meds as prescribed, I live with chronic pain from Ankylosing Spondilitis and a tailbone injury. I found Dr. Love very compassionate, I truly feel he was sincere and concerned for my well being. Although previous procedures we're not beneficial he is not giving up on me and will be trying again and for that I am grateful. Sometimes I feel hopeless and this gives me hope. Don't be discouraged, he is a terrific doctor.

Terrible doctor. He appears to me as if he is more worried about himself and how his paperwork looks than the condition, comfort or well being of his patients. He walked out of the room while I was in mid sentence. Il He didn't give me hardly any time. He was not froendly. Didn't seem to listen.Spoke poorly of other doctors. Just everything you don't want or expect a dr to be, thats Dr. Love. Any other Dr. would be my advice- ANY OTHER ONE INSTEAD OF HIM!

Worst Doctor I have ever encountered. As well as his cohortDr. Terbrack of Stoughton Wi. I can only hope that you suffer from the debilitating diseases that plague myself and those you do not help.. I will be fileing a formal complaint against you and Terbrack.. I think your credentials should be revoked. And your ethics should be under scrutiny.. You should not be practicing medicine..

Absolutely horrible. Waited 2 years jumping through obstacles for a surgery. 9 months later while doing physical therapy the entire time and begging and pleading stating something was wrong another MRI was done. Meanwhile I was accused of abusing my meds and called an opioid abuser and made to see a social worker. The MRI showed changes one of which the level below the prior surgery had spinal cord contact and another pinched nerve. Still refusing to refill a prescription last written in May of 2014. Stay far far far away.

I waited months to see him and then months to get a treatment. There must be a way for the clinic to hire more staff to treat the hundreds of patients waiting for help from pain management doctors. So far, the treatment that Dr. Love has provided has not worked. I'm again waiting for the staff to call me back which usually takes weeks!!! Keep you posted!

17 days ago my mother and I went to Saint Mary's hospital to visit Dr.Love. She suffers from fibromyalgia and has limited use of her knee. Just setting up an appointment with Dr. Love took from October until early March. 4 months to see this busy guy. Finally upon arrival the advice he gave was so simple you could pick up a book on fibromyalgia and learn more than Dr. Love's advice. He treats people like idiots. Worse, for the past week, my mother has been bedridden with terrible back and abdominal pain. It's been an absolute nightmare. She was told that it would take "about a week" to get her medication. It's been 17 days. You are NOT supposed to stop cold turkey at the least. Pain got so bad we had to go to the ER this weekend. This guy does not care about his patients nor treats people with respect. My mother NEVER abused these pills, always followed directions. Dr. Love says "pain is subjective and X-rays show pain." Gee. It's easy to say that when you are not the one suffering.

I have seen Dr. Love for chronic pain (years)@ the Mercy Janesville pain clinic.I have muliple problems from neck down to lower back.I have had one surgery which Dr. Love recommended me to a wonderful neurosurgeon.People that live in chronic pain are looking for a no pain cure which is somestimes impossible. Dr. love helped do the best job to help keep my pain managed. I trusted his opinion and dearly miss hi cosidering what I am dealing with now! I have a young Dr. now that seems to be going by the book and wanting to put me through everything I've already tried without listening to a word I say.I felt Dr. Love was very compassionate to my feelings and listened to me with his full attention. My stress at this point is very high and I will be leaving my present pain clinic to see Dr.Love once again. Not everyone will be happy with certain doctors and this is why it is your right to find one that works for you.In my opinion Dr. Love worked for me.I never waited longer than 15 min for appt
