Doesn't do a complete history about my medical concerns and also doesn't complete an appropriate physical examination of the problem. Instead she just refers to a specialist and sometimes to an inappropriate specialist for the problem. She also spends much of my visits talking about herself rather than focusing on me. If I could, I would change GPs but very hard to do right now because of the state of the health care system and I am at an age where I need a GP for continuity of care.

I was with doctor ramos for over 10 years now, she has a lack of knowledge for health and medicine. The only thing she does it send referrals, there’s no care about the issue at hand. She’s cold and rude, there’s zero compassion towards her patience. I had been told to see her in person by a hospital doctor and she denied my request to do so. NEVER consider her as a family doctor, she’s far from one.

Been with Dr Ramos for about 10 years. She comes across interested, shes done a ton of referrals and Ive always found her friendly and helpful. The reception honestly could step it up a notch but other than that, really happy with our overall experience.

Dr. Ramos is horrible. She talks about other patients with me. I’m worried that she’s talking about my personal info with others. To mirror the reviews below, she is 0 help with mental health and refuses to refer me to another doctor for depression issues. The receptionist is also incredibly rude. I switched doctors because I moved, and I never realized how important a good receptionist is. With my previous doctor, I never had issues getting appointments. Now, my requests are always met with a snarky attitude and I can never get an appt at a reasonable time.
I’m looking for a new doctor specifically because of the sharing of personal medical information. Im pretty sure she’s discussing my medical info with others and I will be reporting her if my suspicions are true.

Do NOT bother going to dr Ramos for any mental health help whatsoever- I tried to get a mental health referral and I heard every single excuse in the book as to why I couldn't be sent to one....
but she had no problem wanting to refer Me to anger management? No, you don't treat someone when you don't know what the diagnosis is... I need help! She made it clear that the only way I will get it is by going to the hospital emergency room and telling them I'm having suicidal thoughts...

I'm leaving this practice- I need a doctor that gives a shit about me and my mental health and it shouldn't have to take wanting to kill myself to get HELP!

The staff at this medical centre is rude and condescending. They like to talk down to you and make you feel like you are in the wrong. All the doctors rush you just counting the numbers. No real diagnosis or caring. I am leaving this practice

I've seen Dr R for a number of years and I have 2 concerns. #1 she tells me personal things and #2 is the misinformation from the 'nurse' who always calls on her behalf. #1 makes me feel I can't confide in Dr R for fear of being judged. She is not my friend. And #2 is all the times I've been called by her nurse have proven to be completely off-base, wrong and frightening. That nurse has zero compassion or tact. The last time which was serious was compounded by not a 'peep', not a call from Dr R in all of this. The nurse started with Dr R can't treat you...Hello Dr Google in the 4-month wait time to see the specialist. There is something wrong here!

Been with her for 10 to 12 years and had no concerns as a family doctor - we’ve had a paediatrician for both kids and moved them over now as teenagers... we had a ob/gyne for both pregnancies 15 to 20 years ago before moving to Oakville... dr ramos diagnosed me for high iron a decade ago and we managed through my diet and diagnosed me with high uric acid and we have also managed through diet... she always referred me to a specialist as required - ophthalmologist for cyst removal around my eye, dermatologist to check a mole on my back... although it’s a very busy office I’ve had no issues with the office staff or dr ramos... no issues with keeping my appts either... hope this helps - I would recommend her as a family doctor for teenagers and adults and keep specialists in mind for other situations that have been commented below...

It's a very busy office and the staff are good at what they need to do. Dr. Ramos. I left her practice for a multitude of reasons.
1. I took my 5 yr old son to her. When she took his blood pressure she told him "it will just feel like a big snake squeezing your arm really hard". Really? Needless to say my son doesn't like her.
2. I was 44 and having my 2nd child. During my 5 month checkup, she told me in detail about a women much younger than me losing her baby at 6 months.
3. Found out I had hypothyroid. She was going to put me on medication over the phone! She hadn't laid eyes on me in 3 years, but was ready to put me on medication without seeing me, just by one blood test. The test was faulty too.
4. She always takes holidays at the same time the kids are off school. I realize this is her right, but it's very inconvenient for patients.

Very attentive and responsive. Appointments are relatively easy to get and she is very punctual. Follow up is also very good
