Hie did surgery on both sides of my nose, the one side turned out good and the other worse than before. I have had continual infections, that side of my nasal passages are always blocked and I have a hard time sleeping at night due to this. He looked up my nose when I went back with a light just at the tip of the nose and said he didn't see anything. He was not helpful at all after he made my situation worse.

He took my thyroid out too and paralyzed my vocal chord 12 yrs ago. The worst thing was that he tried to hide it from me. Friends were telling me that I had paralysis and I didn't want to believe them. I finally went for a second opinion and was diagnosed with vocal chord paralysis. I ended up having voice surgery done to medialize my right chord. He ruined my life too.

I would recommend Dr. Runyon to any mother seeking help for chronic fluid and ear infections. He spent a great deal of time listening to my concerns and offering sound advice. He did not immediately jump to tube surgery as other ENTs had suggested. Instead, he worked with us to better understanding our daughter’s history by immediacy you requesting records. He offered us alternative options to try first and to our surprise, he was very willing to follow our conservative approach and not push surgery. Dr. Runyon is a fantastic pediatric ENT and I will spread the word about his excellent approach - LISTENING TO A PARENT instead of telling! His nurse and staff were equally helpful, kind and understanding.

I have seen Dr. Runyon for years when I have sinus or ear issues. His staff is great, his bedside manner always puts me at ease, and he gives me all the time I need. He never seems rushed. I trust his opinion implicitly, as he has such good common sense and great knowledge. He is the ENT I recommend. It's always a good experience, and more importantly, I trust him.
