Dr. Arvanaghi's thorough and comprehensive approach to pain management and related challenges is top notch. He has been my pain doc for a decade or so, helping me through back, torso, and limb pain, chronic daily headache, migraine, and various disabling injuries. He thinks things through and searches constantly for additional channels or therapies through which relief can be improved. I am a highly educated professional (retiree) with research design, statistics, and medical efficacy litigation in my background; Dr. Arvanaghi is able to meet and engage me on every level. Indeed he pushes me if he thinks I have not pursued a specific avenue with sufficient diligence. After 15 years as a crippled former athlete (competitive volleyball), he enables and facitates my battle to diminish pain meds, which are down over 50% from peak. I have the highest respect for him as a person and a doctor.

I would not go to any other pain management physician. His injections are painless and hit the exact point. He has treated me and my husband. My brother, comes from Nicaragua to get his treatment from Dr. Arvanaghi, despite the extra travel expense and inconvenience. We think he is simply the best in the USA. He spent a lot of time with me before doing the epidural injection procedure, took the time to explain everything to me before he did anything, and told me what he was doing as he actually did the procedure. He is kind, gentle, sensitive, and has a sense of humor. Unlike other docs I've been to, he actually took the time to talk to me, examine me and actually give advise about a foot pain from past surgery, unrelated to the spinal treatment. His staff were nice. Because demand for his services is large,sometimes is not so easy to get appointments quickly. But he's definitely worth the wait. The best there is, my family is so grateful to have found him.

Dr. Arvanaghi has been my trusted doctor for pain management for years. I have over 14 different medical disorders ranging from Leukemia to Arthritis and I would not trust any other practice to my back and body than Dr. Arvanaghi and his partners.

Be prepared to wait a VERY long time to see Dr. Arvanaghi. Their scheduling practices routinely result in long waits in crowded waiting rooms with insufficient seating for pain riddled frustrated patients.

Best doctor ever. Knowledgeable about your condition and makes sure he shares that knowledge with you. Gives you all the options for your treatment. Willing to change treatment if you are not satisfied with your options. He is the best doctor I have had in the last 20 years. Personable, professional,caring, willing to listen,not dismissive of your concerns -- and a gentlemen. He should teach a class in med school about how a doctor should conduct himself with patients. There is no other. He is the best.

Dr. Arvanaghi is an outstanding physician - kind, patient and extremely courteous. He goes to extreme lengths to help his patients understand their treatment options as well as help them reduce or remove pain for any number of diseases or injuries. I would highly recommend you see him if you are suffering from chronic pain - they have both injections (of which he's the best) and/or medicines if injections don't work. He understands his patients and sees his work as a responsibility which is how ALL physicians should perceive the service they provide to patients. If I could give 10 stars on this review, I most certainly would!

It has been nearly a year since I've seen Dr. Arvanaghi since the last injection has eliminated my severe back pain. I agree that there is somewhat of a wait before the actual procedure takes place, but it is not an unreasonable one. Account must also be taken for the preparation by the technicians that occurs before the actual procedure. Dr. Arvanghi is an exceptional physician. Each time I have seen him he has taken the time to explain every aspect of how he administers the injection. He is gentle in his speech as well as in his touch. Extraordinary. His office staff? Not so much. On each of my three visits, I noticed that they barely make eye contact with the patients. They never seem to smile. I have seen them not even glance up to acknowledge patients at the window -- not even with a comment such as "I'll be with you in a moment. The good news is that the technicians are caring and responsive to the patients.

Long waits, bring a magazine. Very good with spinal injections. Can be supportive and helpful, but at times is in a bad mood and rushes you through without listening and can be abrupt.

Dr. Arvanaughi is a GREAT doctor, with a very good bedside manner. I'd seen several other doctors regarding my chronic back pain and no one answered my questions like he did! I highly recommend him to family and friends.
