Dr. Shapiro and his staff have been incredibly helpful assisting me in learning what the exact nature of my immune and autoimmune problems are. They are very attentive when I have an infection and respond quickly to my messages for help. Dr Shapiro is very scientific and wants copies of all tests directly from any other specialists. He then works very hard putting the pieces together.

This clinic is very nice especially the IV nurses!! Dr. Shapiro and Kris Epland NP totally refuse to acknowledge other things that may be supressing my immune system like Lyme, EBV, HHV6 and other virus' and call it genetic. They have mismanaged me and refuse to acknowledge any reactions I am having to the IVIG. I am at a loss how they can be touted as being so good.

Dr. Shapiro used to be a kind and helpful doctor when I first saw him in 2002. However, his ego has grown in proportion to the number of public speaking engagements. He became increasingly unhelpful and unavailable even in emergency situations. The final straw that caused me to leave him was almost dying due to his negligent behavior. Do not go to Dr. Shapiro, whatever you do, all you will find is negligence and unavailability.
