He was not there for me when I was very ill. very cold and uncaring, no bedside manner.

Dr. Zucker has treated us for about 15 years. He is a highly competent diagnostician. Overlook the low tech office and cramped space.

Dr. Zucker has treated both my husband and myself for over 10 years. His bedside manner is usually poor, but he is tenacious in getting to the root of a problem. The long office waits can be trying. Hint: don't make a Monday appointment. His office is not particularly inviting. If you need a doctor who is warm and fuzzy and has a fancy office, Dr. Zucker is not for you. However, if you want a doctor who is knowledgeable and thorough, you can feel comfortable using him.

Been going to Dr Zucker for over 20 years. He tells you what you need to be told whether you like or not, just as a good Dr should. I find him to be thorough and professional.

Dr. Zucker is easily THE BEST Doctor to be found anywhere in the Hudson Valley (and perhaps well beyond). Whatever (slight) inconveniences one might endure from his staff are more than made up for by this wonderful, extremely knowledgeable, caring, passionate and supremely gifted physician. I count myself among the truly blessed to have found him and experienced his care.

I have been with Dr Zucker for 16 years. He is the best doctor I have ever had. I have brought my husband, his mother, my parents and my sisters to him. He is now dr for all of us. Sometimes you have to wait for a while, but usually never more than 20 mins. Some of the staff are pretty snotty, but others make up for it. He is not cold as others here seem to think. He has a very dry sense of humor that I love. Sometimes people don't get that. He is also the smartest man I know.

I have used Dr. Zucker for ten years now and he is very knowledgeable. I have had to wait up to 2 hours to see him, but I think it varies a lot depending on what time of day you go. The staff is ok and do their jobs. Although he is rushed because of his big caseload, Dr. Zucker is always willing to do an extra test or spend a little extra time to find out what is really going on. He has pretty decent equipment. All in all, I would recommend Dr. Zucker as long as you are willing to wait for him.

I can't believe what I'm reading here! Dr. Zucker is not only a wonderful physician, but also a truly great man and a humanitarian. Patients that know him feel privileged to be under his care. He has saved me more than once, and I trust his knowledge and judgement implicitly. When people remark that his staff are cold I have to consider how busy they are. There is a reason for that: Dr. Zucker is so capable & careful in his work that he's swamped! I've seen people wait a half hour for a Big Mac... waiting 2 hours (occasionally) for this doctor is hardly an inconvenience. I guess these folks have not been to other offices that are run like clinics, completely impersonal. This is an "old school" physician who is not against taking the time necessary to properly care for his patients. We're lucky to have him. I'm not ashamed to sign my name to this critique, either. --Mark L. Milstein

Had an appt. but still waited 2hrs. He missed diagnosed me as having a bacterial infection, which turned out to be a bee sting. At another visit I said my husband hurt my foot during the night and I asked why was it so swollen and painful? He said people don't abuse people at night. He left the room and did not return, so I left and called Safe Homes to have someone to talk to. Very cold person, will not return.

The staff is not particularly helpful and at times they are unprofessional. When making an appointment to see Dr. Zucker, make sure that they give you an appointment with him and not with the Physician's Assistant. Keep in mind that if you have insurance, you pay the same regardless of whether you see the PA who could have as few as two years of full time study, or the doctor who studied for over a decade to achieve the MD. I am frustrated with the lack of care received in this office and I would not recommend using this doctor for your medical needs. The entire atmosphere is cold and unfeeling, right from the all caps black and white 8X11 warnings about insurance on the front window of the staff area. It is not conducive to comfortable or effective medical care.
