I absolutely love Dr. Atlas and feel very fortunate that he was willing to take me as a private patient. He encouraged me to ask questions and spent as much time with me as I needed. He was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. He also made himself available via e-mail, which was great. I credit him with stopping my preterm labor and helping me get to 37 weeks. He encouraged me to deliver my twins vaginally if possible. In the end, I had to have a c-section due to the fact that they were both breech. I have had no complications from this surgery. I can't imagine having gone through this pregnancy and delivery with any other doctor. It was one of the best experiences of my life thanks in large part to Dr. Atlas. My husband loved him too.

excellent physician - answered all question - very professional with terrific bed side manner. have seen other high risk physicians, however Dr. Atlas was much more thorough in the care he provided. well worth the wait to see him!!!

Dr. Atlas is very helpful and personable! I love him. He's actually a really cute doctor! He is a cover his butt kind of doctor but always tells you your options.

Dr. Atlas is a terrific physician. He was very focused on helping us get through my wife's pregancy and even called us at home in the evening (we didn't even call him) to see how things were going. He is compassionate and explains options to us in language that we can understand. He is affiliated with the University of Maryland. I don't understand what the previous rater was talking about since we love Dr. Atlas and his team.

In April of 2000, Dr. Atlas performed a c-section on me, delivering my daughter. I have very recently found out that because of the unneccesary type of surgery he utilized, I can no longer have children. He chose to do a vertical incision which was completely unwarranted. And because of this, my uterus is now weakened beyond what is considered safe to carry a pregnancy to term. I highly recommend that anyone seeking his services do a thorough check into his credentials, starting with his previous emplyoyers at LVH in Allentown, PA.
