At my first visit to his office I asked a few questions, which his nurse/assistant could not answer. She called him into the exam room. He came storming in, gave curt answers to my questions and very rudely informed his assistant to not bother him again. I arrived at the procedure at the proper time. Two hours later just as I was getting dressed to leave he came in. He was very agitated at me when he saw I was dressed and ready to leave. In a very angry tone he told me to get undressed or he would make sure that no dr. in town would take me as a patient. The technician muttered under his breath "Oh my god he is on a rant again", then told me it was best that I keep my mouth shut and just get through the procedure. During the procedure the dr kept on ranting about how he hated patients who thought they were "Special". And he went on to describe what it was like to have to put up with them and how he was too busy and just wished they would "Eat sh*t and die". He and the tech both laughed at that. I suppose it was funny considering that he was inside my bowels at the time. But to me it was scary and completely inappropriate and I certainly did not find it funny. As I was getting dressed I told my wife about what had transpired. She is a nurse and started to ask him about what had transpired and to explain himself. In the middle of her question he cut her off. He was almost screaming at her, telling her he was a "DR." and she was just a nurse and to keep her questions and opinions to herself. Then he threatened her, telling her he was going to have her terminated and have her sanctioned for questioning his authority as the attending physician. At this time a woman claiming to be the clinic manager (Northwest Gastroenterology) became part of the conversation. She asked to talk to me and my wife alone. McCullough was incensed at her but did walk away. She did her best to cover for the dr. telling me and my wife that the medication I was on caused confusion and that I was delusional. She then told my wife that unless she wanted to find herself sanctioned and explaining herself she had better get me dressed and leave immediately. As we were leaving my wife overheard the manager telling McCullough "That is the last time I am going to cover up another one of your tirades, clean up your act or you will have to find another clinic to work in". I truly hope and pray that one day someone will stand up to this monster in a white coat and get his license revoked.
