totattly unqualified to be calling himself a dr!!!!! my mother was running a 102 fever he sent her home with no blood work and his diagnoisos was she had a cold a was to "ride it out" i then took her to another dr where he took her blood work and diagnois her with pneomonia very serious illness and was prescribed the proper meds (antibotics and promethizine)

been going to doc for approx 3 years with a list of issues.all cool now,fullbloodwork,we talked about vitamin d and how i cant beleive how well i feel.also he took care of my wife and referred her to a specialist.funny up to date guy exc knowledge.another doc had me on all kind of meds,this doc one med and feel great!u have to be truthfull with him and he takes care of rest.my sister rec him.

This doctor performed a colonoscopy at St. Peters Hospital and never bothered to follow up with me to give me a summary of what he gathered after the procedure. I had to call the office a week later to find out what the results were of the procedure. It is very unusual and unprofessional to perform this procedure and not follow up with your patient. I was not happy and would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Very helpful, respectful doctor. Have been going to him for apprx. 20 years. He listens and attempts to help you the best he can. If he feels you need a specialist, does not hesitate to refer you. The office staff is helpful and are patient-friendly when calling for info or precription refills.

Dr. Scharf is one of the best doctors there is. He is very helpful and is always concerned about his patients and treats you like a real human being. He is also very knowledgable, and do his best in prescribing or referring for you. You can tell him anything and he will do his best to help you. If you are looking for a GP in central New Jersey, look no further!
