For ten years, I have seen Dr. Cohen and always felt she was knowledgeable, experienced and personable. At one point, she noted a life threatening condition and quickly made referrals to other physicians which saved my life !
Since moving to the Tremont Ave. Essen practice, things have deteriorated. The staff is awful and incompetent, English seems not to be well understood and
its a clinic atmosphere and the pandemic also has taken a toll.
I usually see this doctor at least 4 times per year and the past year has been nothing but phone calls with her , not even video. She was rude when I explained that I had been unwell.
She has yet to return to in person visits. MAY 2021. She prescribed a new medication dosage which I never received despite elevated lab results which she noted.
7 calls to her office during one month to no avail. So very disappointing after all this time.
I referred others in the past and they said the wait time and attitude of her staff made them seek healthcare elsewhere , sorry but its time to seek a new Endocrinologist !

Not happy with this Dr. Wait for hours to be seen, does not give info about my condition or medicine for thyroid .. Just performs a quick exam, gives appointments and leaves you guessing and suffering with the condition you have when she should have given me meds for my thyroid. People ask me why arent i getting meds for this condition and im ashamed to say its my inefficient Drs. Fault. Does not explain anything to you. I should get a lawyer.

It is like a clinic you wait in the waiting room for at least 2 hours regardless of your appointment. They overbook.

Doctors’ offices are often places of the unknown. That’s why I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Cohen took the time to explain everything that was going on. It made me feel relaxed to have a doctor with such great communication skills.
