Dr. Sheklian took over Dr. Wood's practice this year. I have been going to Dr. Wood for over 30 years, so Dr. Sheklian, as he reminded me, does things differently that Dr. Wood. I waited at least 15 minutes for each appointment. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth immediately began to tell me how old my fillings are and all about how they don't last too long and that they would soon need to be replaced. Cha-Ching. The hygienist let me know that I would probably need to put crowns on two twenty year old root canals. Cha-Ching. Dr. Sheklian checked out my teeth and told me that I would need a filling. He also reiterated that he did things differently than Dr. Wood and that I would need two crowns on my old root canals to the tune of nearly $800. Cha-Ching. I had to wait a month to get the second appointment to have my filling. It cost me $51 out of pocket. I felt as if I were at a used-car dealership. I will not be going back. Time to find a new dentist who doesn't seem like a shyster.

mark sheklian is not only a great dentist but is a man character and class. that is hard to find in todays world. i can not think of one negative to say about dr.sheklian or his wonderfull staff. my family and i have been patients for over twenty years.

Mark has been handling our family for 20 years. Very knowledgeable, keeps current on new methods, etc.,Great chairside manner, office staff very professional. Have referred many people to him. Mark did a great job on extensive reconstruction work on my daughter's teeth as well as my wife's after an accident.

In my day, I've had some "work done" when it comes to my teeth, and Dr. Sheklian certainly is friendly and professional. While professional their environment is a little casual and sometimes the time with the Dr seems rushed. The hygieneists are very knowledgable.

Very thorough explainations of services. Nice gentle chairside manner. Office is run very professionally and very clean! Helpful office staff with extensive knowledge of insurance benefits. Been with this dentist for 20 years!

Used to be a good dentist; now all he cares about is the money. He will tell you work is needed when it isn't - just so he can get more $$ from you. Dental assistants/hygienists are very unfriendly and rough. Doc was supposed to check my mouth after my cleaning to be sure the hygeniest did a good job, yet didn't even look in my mouth! Do yourself a favor and pick a different dentist.
