I seen him while living in the area and he helped me understand why I was depressed. Dr Ratnam u understands people that's why he doesn't need much time to tell you what he sees is the issue. I miss him but I can't find a number to reach his office. Can someone tell me how to find him please! Thanks

The doctor is hard to understand but does know his job. Sometimes he really doesn't understand the patient I think but he is not to bad of a physician.

Dr. Ratnam is a very good doctor. He is polite and caring. His office staff is very personable and attentive. He is the best psychiatrist in central texas.

This man shouldn't be a doctor and especially not a psychiatrist. He doesn't listen. He just wants to talk and explain what he thinks you have, and he makes up his mind quickly, without paying real attention to your story. One of the most annoying of his faults is the difficulty to make an appontment. His wife is in charge with taking appointments, but it's very rare that she answers the phone. And it takes many messages before she returns the calls. Once, out of frustration for not being able to make an appontment, I left a message threatening that I would inform the medical board of this problem, and only then an apologetic Dr. Polavarapu called back. He seems careless. I saw him 3 times, but I'm looking for another doctor.

Dr. Ratnam seemed to never listen. He never remember me from prior visits. I felt that he was not helpful to me at all. His wife was the receptionist and she was always very kind. I would have rather seen just her on every visit.

Was 30 minutes late for my appointment! Also didn't seem to listen to what I was saying.

I called his office three times in one day and I got and answering machine all three times. I left my name and number all three times but I did not receive a call back from this doctor. My son is a patient of his and I had some questions that I thought Dr. Ratnam could assist me in, but I felt I was not a priority and neither was my son.
