Andrew is a competent and hard working doctor. I have known him for more than two decades, which he has dedicated to serving the people of the north. I see a bunch of knowledge-less hyper woke fools that hear about his one mistake, and they jump on some left wing rant, as usual without knowing anything but what is written on line. They fail to recognize the uncountable babies and mothers he has saved, and owe their lives to this man’s skill. It is this constant jump to judgement, by clueless people that is tearing our society apart, and in this case has cost the north an excellent doctor.

This man forcibly sterilized indigenous women. He is a barbaric throwback to the racist bigots of the past. If you are paying him for services, you are allowing this to continue.

Forcible sterilisation is considered assault under Canadian law, and a war crime under international law. It is deeply disturbing that this Dr. Is out of jail, let alone still practicing medicine, especially after he said “let’s see if I can find a reason to take the left tube”, indicating that his choice to mutilate his patient - an indigenous woman - was malicious and pre-meditated. He still refuses to accept responsibility for his disgusting crime - he had the nerve to counter sue the woman he illegally violated for court costs.

Dr Kotaska has been my gynecologist for many years through my time dealing with a rare form of ovarian cancer and was understanding and supportive of my desires to keep my reproductive organs despite the possible risks and allowed me to make as informed a decision as possible about my own health. He loves his job, I felt very cared for as a person, and I feel lucky to have been his patient. He gave me two surgeries, one in collaboration with my oncologist, and I was very happy with the outcome of both.
