Dr Kwong diagnosed a problem that many other highly rated surgeons missed completely. He did two very complicated foot surgeries on my 15 yo and she was so happy and pain free she was recommending him to others and handing out his business cards.

Forget the rest - he’s the best!

Side note. These appointments take a lot of time. They are not “ in and out” at Kerlan-Jobe so plan on a few hours and be prepared to see high profile athletes there whilst you’re waiting .

It’s worth the wait to get it right.

This guy is top of the heap, he's a top orthopedic foot specialist. I had a problem which wasn't identified properly by my other surgeon and he immediately suggested help for me. (I had a malunion of a talus fracture, which isn't completely fixable, but he helped) I am a physician patient and happy to be identified here. Sincerely, Robert Yoho MD

I am not sure what to think of my experience with Dr. Kwong. My appoinment was at 2:00 and I sat in a very cold examination room until he finally came in at about 4:45. I couldn't believe it. There were a lot of other patients and I know he was busy but it did seem rather abusive. I think they book too many patients for the same time slot. Once in the room he was ok - - I think he's actually a good doctor, but it was an extraordinary wait. By the way, he sent me off to be fitted for orthotics so by the time that was done it was 6:30. He was still there talking on the phone when I left. A very busy doctor, but I am glad I have him.

I work with orthopaedic specialists and I have consulted several "good ones" for a problem on my right ankle that, in 7 years, not one had being able to diagnose acurately. After all types of treatmens and failures by the other docs, Dr. Kwong identified the problem immediately and corrected it putting the end to my long past suffering. He is GREAT!!!

Dr. Kwong is a fantastic foot doctor. He deals with many many professional athletes and knows his stuff. I went to him after researching the best foot doctors in L.A. He is the cream of the crop. If you want the best, then you've found him. He is patient and very knowledgeable. I can't recommend him highly enough.

The best foot/ankle guy around. He rebuilt my right ankle 6 years ago (when two other docs had given up on it) and I couldn't be happier. He's exceptionally intelligent and works and re-works the problem until he comes up with a solution - even when he's in the middle of surgery and realizes things aren't going as planned. I was diagnosed with avascular necrosis (very difficult to deal with in the ankle joint) and was facing possible fusion. The lesion on the bone was a difficult one to treat and required 5 hours in surgery to repair. Today, thanks to Dr. Kwong, I walk like nothing ever happened. The only reminders are a 2 inch scar and some minor stiffness on cold mornings. Dr. K rocks!
