Dr. Buzzanell is not only an excellent doctor but a great friend. He listens to your concerns and tries everything to meet those concerns and treat them. I don't think you'll find a more caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable doctor.

My ratings here are very generous. The staff is uber unprofessional, laughing loudly among themselves, disturbing patients in the waiting room. But the 2 hour wait and being told it would be at least 45 minutes with absolutely no excuse was beyond reasonable. The staff admitted to be, all of them, that the wait time was outrageous (that does not say a lot for their loyalty) and I declined to make another appointment to wait another day. Then I did research on the internet and found he has had to give up his medical license for very egregious problems, including being charged with killing several patients. I don’t want to characterize this myself. Read it yourself. I’m now glad I refused to wait because it scares me to think he might have permenently hurt me with the injections he wanted to do as happened with another patient ego now is permanently disabled and in horrendous, constant pain. Very, very scary.

I have been Dr. Buzzanell's patient for the better part of a year now. I have a thirty+ year history of degenerative spinal disease with numerous spinal surgeries. I have received excellent treatment from Dr. Buzzanell. His compassion and understanding are superseded only by his knowledge and choices of treatment. His skill and technique in administering injection procedures are superior. I experience less discomfort and take less prep medication than when I was a patient at a nationally rated orthopedic hospital New York city where I had procedures for several years. Dr. Buzzanell partners with me to achieve the best solutions and results for my particular medical problems. He conveys needed medical information in a comprehensive manner. I find his staff to be efficient and professional. I am fortunate to be a patient in Dr. Buzzanell's practice.

I have suffered with migraines for 50 years, so bad that I was awarded SSD at age 46. At 65, Dr. Buzzanell has treated me and it is the first time in my life that I am getting relief. It is not a cure, but my medicine actually works about 95% of the time instead of 50%. I am out of pain in a shorter amount of time and get less headaches. To me, it's a miracle. I wish this was available years ago so that my mother could have tried this treatment and been relieved of her pain too. Than k you Dr Buzzanell.

I suffered from spine related pain in lumbar and thorax region for years. Dr. Buzzanell had the skill and techniques to get me pain free for long periods. I have confidence that the clinic is state of the art and top notch. The staff is professional and friendly. My experience there as a patient goes back 4 years. I recommend Blue Ridge Pain Management and Dr. Buzzanell for my type of procedure , which was RF ablation. Now I am able to enjoy many activities and have a better quality of life.

I have been with Dr Buzzanell for two years and have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff. The office itself is beautifully decorated and well-maintained, and the staff is always pleasant and seem to really love what they do. Anytime I have had any questions or concerns, both of the PA's and Dr Buzzanell do their best to make sure my needs are addressed. Dr Buzzanell's practice is not like other pain management facilities that just hand out drugs. They are a little higher class than that, which does mean that they don't just take in anyone as a patient, but I appreciate that. I don't like sitting in an office surrounded by a bunch of sketchy pillheads.

A patient in pain has no chance of being treated with dignity. Dr. B is a lot of talk but between the lines all he cares about is the dollar. His PA staff are rude and talk down to everyone. His male secretary is very rude and short, smug as if the ten bucks he makes an hour makes him important. If you go to this practice you had better ask to see and read their notes in full each time you return. My notes were full of lies about things they said they discussed but did not, they also wrote their own personal opinions instead of objective medical documentation, my medication list was wrong even though I tried to correct it many times. There is more than I can say here. Just do not trust them. They lie to cover themselves. They talk about other patients within ear shot of others. Oh yes and when I asked to make an appt. with Dr. B I was refused twice by his staff. They have you between a rock and a hard place and they know it. Be careful!!!

To start out he was a good doctor to me. Even asked me to help him in some of his classes to help others in pain, due to me having been an LPN before becoming disabled due to severe pain. Then he put a trial pain pump in, and I started hurting more on the right side, when the worst pain was on the left. Which I repeatedly told him over and over again. On two consecutive Friday nights I was having problems with the pump, and I called him about it. I told him it would take me about 2 hrs to get to the hospital, due to having to find someone to drive me and then the time it took to drive from my home to the hospital he was working at, at that time. He said when I got to the ER to have the nurses call him and he would be right there. On both occassions I had to wait over 2 hrs before he got to the ER to see me. The nurses in the ER got very upset with him. The last ER visit the pump had come out of the spinal column and he acted like it was my fault, and he refused to see me from then on.
